This role serves as the primary interface between the customer and Bosch engineering teams and is accountable for achieving project targets related to Quality, Cost, Delivery, Scope, and Customer Satisfaction. The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams across systems engineering, software, hardware, mechanical engineering, validation, quality, manufacturing, purchasing, and production while collaborating with globally distributed teams across North America, Germany, India, China, and other Bosch development locations.\nThe position requires strong technical knowledge, business acumen, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to navigate ambiguity in fast-paced development environments.\nKey Responsibilities Include:\nCustomer and Stakeholder Management\nAct as the primary technical and project interface for customer engineering organizations.\nBuild and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle.\nLead technical discussions, project reviews, escalation meetings, and executive steering committees.\nCommunicate effectively with all levels of the organization, from engineering teams to Director and Vice President level leadership.\nCoordinate customer requirements, change requests, issue resolution activities, and release planning.\nEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term business growth.\nProject Leadership\nLead global cross-functional project teams in compliance with organizational development processes.\nDrive project execution from project initiation through SOP and project closure.\nDevelop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk management strategies.\nMonitor and control project performance against defined milestones and deliverables.\nEstablish recovery plans and corrective actions when targets are at risk.\nManage project escalations and facilitate timely decision-making.\nQuality, Cost, Delivery (QCD) Ownership\nTrack program financials, engineering budgets, development costs, and investment requirements.\nConduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.\nSupport quotation activities, feasibility assessments, and customer RFQ/RFI responses.\nEnsure lessons learned are captured and incorporated into future projects.\nSystems Engineering and Product Development\nCoordinate complete product development activities involving System Engineering, Hardware Development, Software Development, Integration and Validation, and Production Readiness.\nManage requirements throughout the product lifecycle.\nFacilitate architecture reviews, design reviews, and technical readiness assessments.\nDrive alignment between customer requirements and internal engineering teams.\nSupport engineering release management activities and change management processes.\nLaunch and Production Support\nCoordinate PPAP activities and production readiness reviews.\nSupport manufacturing launch and industrialization activities.\nLead issue resolution during pilot production and launch phases.\nEnsure successful product introduction into serial production.\nMonitor field quality performance and drive corrective actions when required.\nGlobal Team Collaboration\nLead multicultural engineering teams across multiple regions and time zones.\nFoster collaboration, innovation, transparency, and accountability.\nCreate an environment that promotes teamwork, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.\n Required Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related engineering field. Master's Degree preferred.\n8+ years of experience in automotive, off-highway, industrial, or embedded systems development.\n5+ years of technical project management experience leading global engineering projects.\nProven experience managing complete product development life cycles from concept through SOP.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPMP, IPMA, or equivalent Project Management Certification.\nExperience working directly with North American OEMs and Commercial Vehicle manufacturers.\nExperience with battery-electric, fuel-cell, and hydrogen-based propulsion systems.\nExperience managing globally distributed development teams.\nExposure to stationary energy storage systems and industrial power applications. \n Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability / veterans\n*Bosch adheres to Federal, State, and Local laws regarding drug-testing.
