Während Ihrer Abschlussarbeit führen Sie optische sowie FEM-Simulationen durch, um die Lichttransmission durch Siliziumwafer zu berechnen. Auf Basis der Simulationsergebnisse entwickeln Sie eine Strategie zur optischen Waferinspektion. Sie vergleichen die Simulationsergebnisse mit Messungen an laserbehandelten Wafern und identifizieren relevante Korrelationen. Darüber hinaus wirken Sie am Aufbau einer neuen Imaging-Stage zur spannungsbasierten Messung im Mikrometerbereich in der Tiefe und an der Oberfläche mit. Auch die experimentelle Korrelation mit weiteren Spannungsmessstrategien zur Charakterisierung des optischen Messsystems fällt in Ihren Verantwortungsbereich.

  • Ausbildung: Studium im Bereich Naturwissenschaften, Technologie, Ingenieurwesen und Mathematik (STEM) oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
  • Erfahrung und Kenntnisse: Erfahrung in der numerischen Simulation in der Optik; Erfahrung mit kommerzieller Simulationssoftware wie ABAQUS, ZEMAX und COMSOL; Kenntnisse in Python; praktische Laborerfahrung ist von Vorteil
  • Persönlichkeit und Arbeitsweise: Sie zeichnen sich dadurch aus, Herausforderungen lösungsorientiert anzugehen, selbstständig zu arbeiten und dabei ein hohes Maß an Motivation mitzubringen
  • Arbeitsroutine: Ihre Anwesenheit vor Ort ist erforderlich (Büro- und Laborarbeit)
  • Sprachen: verhandlungssicheres Englisch

Dauer: 6 Monate
