With over 27,000+ associates, it’s the largest software development center of Bosch, outside Germany, indicating that it is the Technology Powerhouse of Bosch in India with a global footprint and presence in the US, Europe and the Asia Pacific region.\n Role Overview:\nPerform as an individual developer for the project team in automotive diagnostic content generation for Bosch IAM tool chain.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop and author automotive diagnostic content with strong knowledge in vehicle communication networks (CAN/SAE/Flexray/LIN/KWP/MOST/UDS/CANFD/DOIP)\nPerform vehicle diagnostic content authoring and validation\nConduct vehicle testing and diagnostics of various ECU/ADAS applications\nCreate and calibrate application sequences for ADAS controllers with calibration/reset functions\nExecute reverse engineering processes and implement/validate using vehicle simulators\nExtract service manuals from OEM portals and perform reverse engineering with OEM tools\nManage diagnostic assets including identification, DTC, sensor data, actuators, and special tests\nUtilise Vector tools and Samtec tools such as CANdela, CANoe, CANdiva, ODX Studio, HSX, HS+, and ODX data\nApply excellent problem identification and solving skills with exposure to CAR and 8D methodologies\nRequired Experience:\nExperience in handling OEM/IAM vehicle diagnostic tools\nExperience in vehicle diagnostic content authoring and validation\nExperience in reverse engineering processes and implementation/validation using vehicle simulators\nExperience in vehicle testing and diagnostics of various ECU systems\nExperience in ADAS application sequence creation and calibration\nVehicle knowledge with ADAS controllers with calibration/reset functions\nTechnical Knowledge:\nStrong knowledge in vehicle communication networks (CAN/SAE/Flexray/LIN/KWP/MOST/UDS) and related protocols\nThorough knowledge of diagnostic assets (identification, DTC, sensor data, actuators, and special tests)\nKnowledge of ODX data and AUTOSAR (preferable)\nExposure to programming languages such as Python, C#, SQL (added advantage)\nDesired Certifications:\nOn-Board Diagnostics (OBD-II) Certification\nSAE J2534 Programming & Diagnostics Certification\nOriginal Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Certifications\nCertifications related to DOIP\nB.E/B. Tech, M.E/M.
