We invite you to join us in this transformation.\nJob Description\nDSP/ML Research Engineer Intern | Summer 2027\nWe are looking for a Machine Learning/DSP Engineer Intern to join our research lab this summer! In this role you will help build our next generation product experiences enabling people to hear better, relish musical experiences, and achieve more. The duration of this position is 3 months starting June 2027 (full-time 40 hours/week).\nResponsibilities\nResearch, implement and evaluate of multimodal fusion methods of sensors for environmental sensing.\nDevelop and evaluate DSP and Machine Learning algorithms with a focus on room environmental sensing application.\nCollecting data using a variety of sensors such as microphones, IMUs, and light based systems.\nDevelop machine learning models, training data, and evaluation infrastructure.\nMinimum Qualification\nCurrently in the process of obtaining a M.S., or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Acoustic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.\nStrong experience with programing in Python and MatLab.\nStrong experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch.\nExperience with camera and IMU data collection and signal processing.\nFamiliar with Machine Learning, including deep learning neural networks, memory constrained models, and training data development.\nFamiliar with real time processing applications.\nFamiliar with acoustic modeling.\nExperience with cross-group and cross-culture collaboration.\nHigh levels of creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities.\nPreferred Qualification\nDemonstrated Machine Learning Engineer experience via an internship, co-op, class, or personal project.\nKnowledge of embedded DSP.\nKnowledge of C/C++, and bash scripting\nMusic or Acoustic experience and interests\nAt Bose, you're inspired to be and do your best and are rewarded for your unique talents!
