In this role, you will develop and execute category strategies across a diverse portfolio of transportation and logistics services supporting Bose's worldwide operations.\nSuccess in this role requires an experienced procurement professional who is equally comfortable developing long-term category strategies, leading complex commercial negotiations, influencing senior stakeholders, and building high-performing supplier partnerships. The ideal candidate is proactive, operates with a high degree of ownership, and consistently delivers results with minimal oversight.\nWorking closely with Supply Chain, Distribution, Transportation, Finance, Legal, and Operations leadership, you will optimize supplier performance, manage business risk, identify market opportunities, and deliver measurable value across Bose's global logistics network.\nWhat You'll Do\nDevelop Category Strategy\nDevelop and execute multi-year category strategies aligned with Bose's global supply chain objectives.\nBuild strategic sourcing roadmaps that balance cost optimization, operational performance, supplier innovation, sustainability, and risk management.\nPartner with business leaders to understand evolving priorities and translate them into procurement strategies that deliver measurable value.\nContinuously evaluate market trends, supplier capabilities, and emerging technologies to improve Bose's logistics network.\nLead Strategic Sourcing & Commercial Negotiations\nLead complex sourcing initiatives across global transportation and logistics categories, including Ocean Freight, Air Freight, Parcel, Third-Party Logistics (3PL), Warehousing & Distribution, Over-the-Road Transportation (TL/LTL/Intermodal), and Reverse Logistics.\nDevelop sourcing strategies, manage RFIs/RFPs, evaluate suppliers, negotiate commercial agreements, and oversee contract execution.\nDrive total value optimization through competitive sourcing, supplier consolidation, commercial negotiations, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nEnsure contracts appropriately balance commercial value, operational flexibility, and risk mitigation.\nBuild Strategic Supplier Partnerships\nDevelop executive-level relationships with strategic logistics providers.\nEstablish supplier governance processes, including Quarterly Business Reviews, performance scorecards, and continuous improvement plans.\nMonitor supplier performance against key service, quality, delivery, and financial metrics.\nPartner with suppliers to identify innovation opportunities that improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and long-term value.\nDeliver Market Intelligence & Risk Management\nMonitor transportation markets, capacity trends, fuel indices, geopolitical developments, tariffs, regulatory changes, and supplier financial health.\nTranslate external market intelligence into actionable recommendations for business leaders.\nIdentify supply chain risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies that improve business continuity and resilience.\nBenchmark Bose's logistics portfolio against industry best practices and emerging market trends.\nPartner Across the Business\nServe as a trusted procurement advisor to Supply Chain and Logistics leadership.\nCollaborate with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, savings planning, and investment decisions.\nPartner with Legal to negotiate commercial agreements and manage contractual risk.\nWork closely with Operations and Transportation teams to ensure sourcing strategies support service and operational objectives.\nPresent category strategies, supplier recommendations, and business cases to senior leadership.\nDrive Procurement Excellence\nChampion procurement best practices, sourcing governance, and supplier management processes.\nSupport procurement transformation initiatives, including increased spend visibility, sourcing compliance, and standardized procurement processes.\nUtilize spend analytics and market data to identify value creation opportunities and improve decision-making.\nMeasure and communicate category performance through KPIs, supplier metrics, savings reporting, and executive dashboards.\nWhat We're Looking For\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.\n8+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, category management, supply chain, or logistics.\nDemonstrated experience negotiating complex commercial agreements with logistics, transportation, or supply chain service providers.\nStrong understanding of transportation and logistics categories, including ocean, air, parcel, 3PL, warehousing, and over-the-road transportation.\nProven ability to lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives and influence stakeholders across multiple business functions.\nStrong financial, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.\nHighly self-motivated with the ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and drive multiple strategic initiatives with minimal direction.\nProven ability to prioritize competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, global environment.\nWillingness to travel up to 10%, including occasional international travel.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience managing global transportation or logistics categories within a multinational manufacturing or consumer products organization.\nExperience with strategic supplier relationship management and executive supplier governance.\nExperience using spend analytics, market intelligence, and total cost of ownership analysis to develop sourcing strategies.\nExperience with
