This leader ensures the plant meets safety, quality, delivery, cost, and continuous improvement goals. As the site’s top executive, this role plays a pivotal role in developing a high-performance team and culture aligned with company values, customer expectations, and lean manufacturing principles. This leader needs to be action oriented, providing guidance to the team, monitoring progress, ensuring the vision and strategies are being followed.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProduction Management\nLead daily operations to ensure efficient and cost-effective manufacturing processes. \nDevelop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demand. \nOversee materials management, warehousing, and logistics to ensure timely delivery. \nDrive throughput improvements while maintaining targets. \nQuality Management\nEnsure the highest product quality standards are maintained.\nImplement and monitor quality systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other applicable industry standards). \nLead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). \nPromote a quality-first culture across the site. \nLeadership & Strategy\nServe as the senior-most leader on-site, accountable for plant performance. \nAction oriented approach that aids the team in activities and provides clear direction and mentorship.\nDevelop and mentor a strong leadership team across all departments. \nAlign plant objectives with corporate strategic goals. \nChampion continuous improvement and Lean/Six Sigma initiatives. \nCascade corporate strategy and drive execution messaging to all employees \nPro-actively monitor and adjust to indicators of employee engagement. \nEHS (Environmental, Health & Safety)\nEnsure full compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. \nFoster a safe working environment and zero-injury culture. \nSupport the implementation of safety programs, audits, and training initiatives. \nFinancial and KPI Management\nDevelop, manage, and control plant budgets and cost structures. \nTrack and report key performance indicators (KPIs).\nIdentify and drive cost savings and productivity improvement opportunities. \nCustomer & Supplier Interface\nAct as a key point of contact for customer visits, audits, and relationships. \nCollaborate with supply chain and procurement to ensure supplier quality and reliability. \nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. \n5+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership, with 5+ years in plant or site management. \nStrong background in quality management systems, lean manufacturing, and operational excellence. \nDemonstrated leadership in cross-functional team management and people development. \nPreferred Skills:\nSix Sigma Certification (Green/Black Belt) \nExperience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE etc.) \nFamiliarity with global supply chain operations \nChange management and organizational development skills \nExperience implementing new MRP/ERP systems \nExperience in circuit boards, sheet metal forming, painting, printing, silk screening and hand assembly \nExperience in high mix/low volume environment\nCompetencies:\nAction oriented\nStrategic Thinking & Execution \nStrong Communication and Interpersonal Skills \nResults-Driven and Customer-Focused \nContinuous Improvement Mindset \nCrisis Management and Problem-Solving \nAt Bose, you're inspired to be and do your best and are rewarded for your unique talents!
