As a member of the Software team within Bose Audio Lab, this member will play a key role in developing high-performance audio systems supporting Automotive and other Bose business units. You will implement cutting-edge audio processing algorithms on multiple DSP platforms to deliver unique and engaging audio experiences. You will collaborate with research teams to take acoustic concepts from prototype to product implementation, and partner with audio engineers around the world to create best-in-class sound experiences.\nResponsibilities\nDesign and develop music and voice processing algorithms in MATLAB and Simulink.\n\nImplement these algorithms as embedded software across multiple computing architectures.\n\nDevelop comprehensive unit and system-level tests to verify algorithm functionality.\n\nProvide technical leadership and mentorship\n\nRequirements\nBS or MS (preferred) in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering, with a software focus.\n\nDeep knowledge of signal processing fundamentals, including algorithm design and implementation.\n\nDeep hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink modeling and libraries.\n\n8+ years of experience developing real-time DSP software, including technical leadership responsibilities.\n\nStrong C/C++ skills and proficiency with one or more scripting languages.\n\nHands-on development experience on DSP platforms such as Hexagon, SHARC+, and HiFi.\n\nStrong software development skills and experience with best practices (e.g., object-oriented design, modularity, extensibility, reusability, and maintainability).\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear, concise technical documentation.\n\nSelf-motivated and able to work independently.\n\nExperience using Oscilloscopes, Logic analyzers, Emulators etc.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with streaming audio.\n\nExperience with asymmetrical multi-core SoC processors.\n\nAutomotive industry experience.\n\nAt Bose, you're inspired to be and do your best and are rewarded for your unique talents! Our compensation is thoughtfully tailored to your skills, experience, education, and location, and goes beyond base salary.
