This role touches new Atlas behaviors from end to end, from intake through completion - ensuring every dataset is delivered on time with the quality of demonstration data Behavior needs to train Atlas to work autonomously.\n*****Fully onsite in Waltham, MA\n\nSchedule/Working Hours:\n\nMonday - Friday: 40 hours per week, regular hours (e.g., 9 AM to 6 PM).\nPeriodic flexibility is required to cover first and second shift or provide off-hours support to maintain continuous operations.\nCore Responsibilities\n\nCurriculum Design & Planning\n\nPartner with the Atlas Behavior team to translate policy training goals into concrete data collection tasks for robot pilots.\nOwn and run the curriculum planning meeting, aligning Data Ops and Behavior stakeholders on upcoming task priorities and resourcing needs.\nIntake new curriculum requests from Behavior and other partner teams; clarify scope, requirements, and success criteria before tasks enter the backlog.\nPrioritize and sequence the curriculum backlog based on Behavior team priorities, pilot availability, and prop/equipment readiness.\nCreate and maintain task playbooks - including props, pilot documentation, assistant documentation, and robot software configuration - ensuring every task is fully ready before it reaches pilots.\nTrack completion of curriculum requests against requested volume (hours or episodes), and report progress to Behavior and Data Ops stakeholders.\nIdentify and escalate blockers - prop shortages, unclear task specs, pilot capacity - that put completion timelines at risk.\nQuality Control & Pilot Coaching\n\nMonitor quality control of pilot demonstrations, identifying trends, errors, and technique gaps.\nPartner with the annotation team to surface poor piloting techniques or systemic quality issues in collected data.\nCoach robot pilots directly, providing feedback on best techniques and practices, and codify those techniques into playbooks and training documentation.\nPerform periodic pilot skills assessments to identify systemic gaps and feed findings into the ADOPS Pilot Training and Onboarding program.\nOperational Logistics\n\nMaintain inventory and demand forecasting for curriculum props; purchase and stage props and other required equipment to ensure Data Ops is never blocked by lack of materials.\nMaintain the change control process for curriculum documentation, ensuring playbooks stay current as tasks and robot configurations evolve.\nKey Attributes\n\nExceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage a fast-moving backlog across multiple stakeholders.\nStrong coaching instincts - able to give direct, actionable feedback that improves pilot technique.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable running meetings and translating between technical and operational (pilot) audiences.\nProactive, self-directed problem-solver who anticipates blockers before they stall data collection.\nReliable and punctual, with a strong commitment to structured process and accurate documentation.\nThis is an opportunity to step into a high-impact, highly visible role where your decisions directly shape the supply chain behind some of the most innovative robotics systems in the world.\nThe base pay range for this position is between $88,603.82 - $110,754.78 annually. Base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors including, but not limited to internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience. This range represents a good faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
