Now we are quickly becoming a recognized leader in automation solutions for industrial applications and warehouse logistics.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nDesign electronics that comprise advanced robotic actuators and end-effectors\n\nDevelop circuit designs for motor drives, power supplies, analog sensing, microcontrollers, and high-speed communications by performing trade studies, block-diagramming, and schematic capture\n\nAnalyze and optimize circuit designs using spice and simulation\n\nDesign PCB layouts for highly integrated assemblies with techniques including Flex/Rigid-Flex, High-Density-Interconnect (HDI), and heavy copper\n\nWork cross-functionally with mechanical engineers to miniaturize PCBs and optimize reliability for highly complex electromechanical systems\n\nConduct failure analysis and debug complex systems using strong circuit analysis fundamentals\n\nDevelop comprehensive design and test documentation and execute thorough Electrical Validation Test (EVT)\n\nUse command-line Linux tools to configure networks, run software on robots, and interact with firmware\n\nUse a wide variety of lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMM’s, power supplies, programmable loads, and spectrum analyzers to validate designs and debug hard problems\n\nQualifications:\nAny of the experience listed below would be applicable in this role, it is not expected that candidates would possess all of these qualifications.\nBS or MS in Electrical Engineering\n\n5+ years of experience designing electronics\n\nExperience designing power electronics\n\nExperience using or designing motors and motor drives\n\nExperience implementing ethernet, PCIe, or other high speed data technologies\n\nExperience with High-Density-Interconnect (HDI) and heavy copper layout\n\nStrong knowledge of PCB fabrication and assembly\n\nExperience with Python, C/C++, or MATLAB and strong Linux command-line knowledge\n\nWorking knowledge of Solidworks or similar mechanical CAD tools\n\nWe are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. The base pay range for this position is between $117,000 - $145,000. Base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors including, but not limited to internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience.
