Now we are quickly becoming a recognized leader in automation solutions for industrial applications and warehouse logistics.\nHow you will make an impact:\nOwn robot subsystems through architecture, development, and volume manufacturing\nCollaborate on a cross functional team to develop complex robotic sub-systems, including electrical engineering, operations, manufacturing, compliance, and test teams\nDevelop proof of concept designs, transition them to prototype designs and then to production designs\nDesign and release parts, assemblies and drawings using CATIA.\nDevelop production and support documentation including bills of material (BOMs), assembly drawings, and maintenance instructions.\nPlan and and/or perform verification and validation activities on prototype and production systems.\nParticipate in DFM / DFA, and cost-reduction activities\nConduct failure analysis of robots and subsystems.Troubleshoot issues, root cause failure analysis, design and implement corrective and preventative solutions\nAuthor technical documentation such as specifications, test plans, and reports\nWrite Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)\nParticipate in design reviews and drive technical excellence\nPerform system design analyses, FEA, tolerance stack ups, etc\nRequired Skills:\nBSME and minimum 5 years of relevant experience including MSME/PhD degrees with professional engineering experience.\nProficient CATIA user or equivalent (NX, Solidworks, etc.), including finite element analysis, 2D drawings, simulation, etc.\nFamiliarity with PLM systems, (Arena preferred), and ECO process\nExperience taking mechanical components from initial concept through mass production across high-volume fabrication methods (e.g., injection molding, die casting, stamping).\nA working knowledge of ASME drafting standards including GD&T, (Y14.5-2018)\nAble to manage more than one project concurrently while still meeting deadlines.\nHigh level of technical writing proficiency (specs, test plans, reports, white papers, etc.)\nBonus Skills:\nExperience engineering motion control systems with actuators, sensors, bearings, and gearing.\nExperience designing environmental protection strategies, including IP6x sealing architectures (gaskets, O-rings, overmolding), corrosion-resistant coatings/platings, and mechanical resilience against severe thermal shock.\nThermal analysis, CFD\nA working knowledge of DFM/A, Six Sigma, and statistical tolerance analysis\nWe are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not able to sponsor visas for this position.\nThe base pay range for this position is between $135,000 to $160,000 annually. Base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors including, but not limited to internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience. This range represents a good faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
