Would you like to use your expertise to help ensure that life-changing medical devices meet the highest quality standards?\nJoin our Quality team at the European Distribution Center as a Quality Systems Engineer on a 12-month fixed-term contract.\nIn this role, you'll take ownership of key quality system processes, work closely with cross-functional teams and help drive improvements that support product quality and patient safety.\n\nWork model, sponsorship, relocation:\nAt Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.\n\nYour responsibilities will include:\nMaintain and continuously improve our Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with internal procedures and applicable regulations.\nManage and improve document control processes to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance.\nAct as a quality systems subject matter expert, supporting internal and external audits.\nIdentify compliance risks, solve complex quality challenges and drive practical improvements.\nPartner with cross-functional teams to strengthen quality processes and promote a culture of continuous improvement.\nProvide guidance on quality standards and regulatory requirements, supporting product quality and patient safety.\n\nQualifications:\nRequired qualifications:\nExperience working with quality management systems in a regulated environment.\nStrong knowledge of quality assurance, document control and regulatory compliance.\nExperience supporting quality system processes, audits or continuous improvement activities.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.\nAbility to work independently, take ownership and collaborate effectively across teams.\nPreferred qualifications:\nExperience in the medical device industry or another highly regulated environment.\nFamiliarity with ISO 13485, FDA requirements and European medical device regulations.\nExperience with electronic document management systems and quality improvement initiatives.\nExperience in a distribution, logistics or supply chain environment.\nRequisition ID: 636734\nBoston Scientific transforms lives through innovative medical technologies that improve the health of patients around the world.
