Inside every sensor is compact, low-noise electronics and embedded firmware that turn tiny strains into fast, reliable force data for robots.\nWe are hiring a Junior Embedded Systems & Electronics Engineer to help develop and improve that electronics and firmware as our product range and volumes grow.\nThe role\nYou will work alongside experienced engineers on real products from day one, learning across firmware, hardware and testing, and growing your responsibility as you go.\nKey responsibilities\nEmbedded firmware\nDevelop, test and maintain firmware in C/C++ for the microcontrollers in our sensors.\nImplement and improve signal acquisition, filtering and calibration routines.\nWork on communication interfaces such as EtherCAT, CAN, USB and serial.\nElectronics hardware\nWork closely with the team in Altium on schematic design and PCB layout for new and existing sensor electronics, including design reviews and shared component libraries.\nAssemble, solder, rework and test prototype boards; bring up, debug and validate them in the lab.\nHelp optimize electronics for noise, size, cost and manufacturability.\nTesting and production support\nBuild and improve test setups and scripts for development, calibration and end-of-line testing.\nAnalyze field and production issues and help find root causes.\nDocument designs, firmware releases and test procedures clearly.\nWhat success looks like after 12 months\nYou have shipped firmware features or fixes that run in customers' sensors.\nYou have brought up and validated at least one new or revised PCB.\nTest setups you built or improved are in use in R&D or production.\nYou work independently on well-defined tasks and know our product architecture well.\nWho you are\nMust have\nDegree in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, computer engineering or similar (recent graduates welcome).\nStrong hands-on soldering skills: confident with through-hole and fine-pitch SMD soldering and rework, and with testing and debugging boards using oscilloscopes, multimeters and debuggers.\nAltium Designer experience: schematics and PCB layout, and comfortable working collaboratively on shared Altium projects (version control, design reviews, shared component libraries).\nSolid C/C++ skills for embedded systems (e.g. ARM Cortex-M / STM32).\nGood understanding of analog and digital electronics.\nCurious, hands-on and eager to learn;
