Description
Botswana Ash (Pty) Ltd is a Soda Ash and Salt producing Company situated at Sua Pan in Botswana, approximately 180 km by tarred road northwest of Francistown. The Company employs over 500 employees of which close to 300 are unionised. Employees and their families live in Sowa Town, about 20 km from the plant site. The town boasts of recreational facilities, which include restaurant, tennis courts, squash court, swimming pool and golf course. There is also an excellent English medium pre-primary, primary and secondary school as well as public primary and junior secondary schools.

RELIABILITY & MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
The incumbent will be responsible for and involved in troubleshooting, maintenance and continuous improvement of production equipment. The Reliability and Maintenance Engineer will partner with operations and maintenance teams to improve;
- Safety,
- MTBF & MTTR,
- Resource Utilization
- Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)effectiveness
- Equipment Life Cycle Costs, as well as the
- Planning and execution of maintenance outages and shutdowns.

Minimum Requirements:
- BSc. Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 7 years post qualification experience in heavy industrial or plant environment. Two of those years should have been in a managerial capacity.
- Knowledge of boilers, turbine, process pumps, crushers, heat exchangers, compressors, large rotating machines and materials handling equipment.
- Registration with ERB as Professional Engineer.
- Experience with ISO14001 and ISO 45001 standards implementation would be an advantage.
- Valid Driver’s License.
