You'll serve as a trusted finance partner to Product and business leaders, providing the analysis, insights, and recommendations that drive strategic decision making and business performance.\nThis role is ideal for someone who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, solving complex business challenges, and using data to influence outcomes in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.\nHow You'll Contribute\nServe as the strategic finance partner to Product and business leaders, delivering actionable insights and recommendations that support growth, profitability, and long-term business objectives.\nSupport the financial management and performance of strategic product portfolios, with a strong focus on recurring revenue, bookings, ARR, renewals, and product-level profitability.\nPartner closely with Product Leadership, Sales, Customer Success, Delivery, and Accounting teams to evaluate investments, pricing strategies, customer trends, and growth opportunities.\nLead forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes, ensuring business performance is accurately measured and aligned with strategic goals.\nDevelop and maintain sophisticated revenue and financial models that connect operational drivers to financial outcomes and support scenario planning.\nDrive annual operating plans, quarterly forecasts, long-range planning activities, and ongoing business reviews.\nAnalyze financial performance and key business drivers, identifying emerging risks, opportunities, and recommendations for improvement.\nDevelop KPI dashboards and executive reporting that translate complex data into meaningful business insights.\nPresent findings and recommendations to senior leaders, helping influence decision-making across the organization.\nIdentify opportunities to improve processes, automation, systems, and reporting capabilities as Bottomline continues to evolve its finance technology landscape.\n\nSkills\nBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.\n4+ years of progressive FP&A, Strategic Finance, Corporate Finance, or similar experience.\nStrong understanding of SaaS business models, subscription economics, recurring revenue, bookings, renewals, and ARR metrics.\nAdvanced financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical capabilities.\nStrong commercial acumen with the ability to connect operational performance to financial outcomes.\nExceptional communication skills with the confidence to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders across the business.\nProven ability to prioritize effectively and thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate financial analysis.\nAdvanced Excel skills and experience building complex financial and revenue models.\nSelf-motivated, intellectually curious, and eager to continuously improve processes and ways of working.\n\nPreferred Skills\nExperience in Fintech, payments, or other recurring revenue businesses.\nExperience supporting product organizations or product line P&Ls.\nPrevious experience in a private equity-backed organization or another fast-paced, high-growth environment would be advantageous.\nExperience working with executive leadership and presenting financial insights to senior stakeholders.\nKnowledge of Power BI, Adaptive Planning, Snowflake, or similar analytical and planning tools.\nDemonstrated ability to drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational efficiency through data and technology.\nCPA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent advanced professional certification.\nWe welcome talent at all career stages and are dedicated to understanding and supporting additional needs.
