The team are responsible for the day to day running of a suite of global SaaS platforms that are central to our growth including: capacity management adherence to change management process and automation and monitoring across the complex technology estate.\nThe ideal candidate will have real world experience working in a global operation, be fanatical about repeatable process and automation, and understand the challenging choices needed to create scale, resilience, security and availability. Further, this role requires a business-savvy individual who can manage complex situations with stakeholders and clients. \n\nHow you’ll contribute:\nAlerting and Monitoring: Scope, configure and regularly review alerting and monitoring to ensure rapid notification and resolution of production incidents.\nPlatform Incident Recovery: Service restoration during Incidents. Create, validate, and update service recovery runbooks. Collaborate with application experts to deliver processes that facilitate “one-click” service recovery capabilities.\nPlatform Change: Configure and deliver new services to the platform. Create, validate and update runbooks for standard changes.\nPlatform Availability: Develop availability and uptime reporting. Drive improvements in platform uptime.\nAlways Available Platform: Participate in the out of hours “on call” rota to ensure industry-leading incident response is in place for any production issues that may arise.\n\nIf you have two or more of the qualities and skills listed below, we would like to hear from you.\nSWIFT and/or SIC operations knowledge,\nGood communication skills (fluent in English, German would be beneficial)\nFormal training in Computer Science or IT\nServer administration experience on a Windows Server and Linux environments\nExperience working with SQL, SQL Server and API technologies.\nAutomating tasks using scripts or automation tools such as Jenkins\nAbility to create and follow Standard Operating Procedures\nConfiguring monitoring tools, implementing alerting (Elastic, Graphana, etc.)\nA strong desire to work in a technical environment.\nAbility to learn quickly in a technical environment.\nWe welcome talent at all career stages and are dedicated to understanding and supporting additional needs.
