Working closely with the General Manager, this role plays a hands-on part in service delivery, team guidance, and maintaining an organized, guest-ready space.\nWhat You’ll Do\nJob responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:\nDaily Operations & Guest Experience\nProvide on-the-floor support during peak hours (approx. 20 hours/week)\nEnsure guests receive welcoming, informed, and inclusive service\nAssist with check-ins, orientations, and resolving routine guest concerns\nModel BP service standards and support team consistency in delivery\nStaff Coordination\nAssist with onboarding and peer-to-peer training as directed\nCoordinate schedules, shift coverage, and provide real-time support for the front desk team\nParticipate in weekly team meetings and communicate department updates\nOffer daily performance feedback and support a positive team dynamic\nFacility & Retail Support\nMaintain a clean, organized, and stocked front desk and retail area\nSupport retail restocking, product presentation, and POS system use\nMonitor facility cleanliness and relay repair needs to the appropriate teams\nTrack inventory counts and assist with monthly inventory documentation\nRisk Management & Safety\nFollow and reinforce BP’s incident response and safety procedures\nAssist in incident reporting and ensure front desk staff are trained on protocols\nHelp maintain first aid readiness and communicate safety concerns promptly\nRequirements\nWhat You’ll Bring\nRequired Qualifications\n2+ years of leadership experience managing teams of 15+ people\nStrong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills\nAbility to manage time, delegate tasks, and provide mentorship\nFamiliarity with POS systems and scheduling tools\nProficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office\nFlexibility to work evenings and weekends as required\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with retail operations and inventory systems\nWorking knowledge of Approach software or equivalent\nUnderstanding of basic accounting and payroll systems\nExperience in recreation, hospitality, or fitness environments\nWe know not everyone will meet 100% of the qualifications-if this role excites you, we encourage you to apply.\nWorking at Bouldering Project\nAt Bouldering Project, we aim to cultivate excitement for movement, belonging, and community.
