Full Stack Product Development\nDesign, develop and maintain scalable applications across our customer-facing platforms and internal operational systems.\nOwn features end-to-end, from technical design and implementation through testing, deployment and production monitoring.\nBuild intuitive, responsive and performant user interfaces that deliver a premium customer experience.\nDevelop reliable backend services, APIs, integrations and data models that support complex business workflows.\nCollaborate closely with Product and Design to translate business requirements into practical, elegant technical solutions.\nProactively identify opportunities to simplify functionality, improve user experiences and reduce technical complexity.\n2. Software Architecture & Engineering Excellence\nContribute to architectural decisions that ensure our technology remains scalable, secure and maintainable as Boundless grows.\nWrite clean, modular, well-tested and reusable code, following modern software engineering principles.\nIdentify and eliminate technical debt, duplicated logic, performance bottlenecks and fragile implementations.\nChampion engineering best practices, including separation of concerns, automated testing, documentation and code reviews.\nDesign robust workflows that account for edge cases, failures, data consistency and transactional integrity.\nEnsure critical business operations, particularly payments, bookings and customer data, are implemented with strong reliability and error-handling standards.\nParticipate in technical design discussions and challenge approaches that introduce unnecessary complexity or long-term maintenance risks.\n3. Platform Reliability, Security & Performance\nTake ownership of the stability, performance and reliability of the systems you develop.\nImplement appropriate monitoring, logging and error-handling mechanisms to identify and resolve issues proactively.\nInvestigate production incidents, identify root causes and implement sustainable fixes rather than temporary workarounds.\nOptimize database queries, API performance and application responsiveness.\nApply security best practices across authentication, authorization, data protection and third-party integrations.\nBuild resilient integrations with external services, including payment providers, communication platforms and other business-critical systems.\nEnsure changes are deployed safely, with appropriate testing, rollback strategies and consideration for existing users and workflows.\n4. AI-Powered Development & Continuous Improvement\nActively leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate implementation, debugging, testing and code quality.\nExplore opportunities to use AI and automation to improve development workflows and engineering productivity.\nApply sound engineering judgment when using AI-generated code, ensuring all implementations meet our quality, security and maintainability standards.\nContribute to improving development processes, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and deployment practices.\nStay current with emerging technologies and recommend practical improvements that deliver measurable value.\nHelp establish an engineering culture that combines modern tooling, rapid experimentation and disciplined execution.\n5.
