While the focus of this role is RTCDP, Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) platform administration experience is required, as well as familiarity with AJO, CJA, and other AEP services as the Adobe ecosystem increasingly depends on interconnected AEP capabilities.\nThis role defines the data structures, identity strategies, governance standards, and activation patterns that power high-quality customer profiles and downstream segmentation. The CDP Solution Architect partners closely with the Multi-Solution Architect, Martech Consultant, Data Engineering teams, privacy stakeholders, and enterprise data teams to ensure alignment with client use cases and data needs. The ideal candidate brings deep RTCDP and AEP expertise, several successful full-cycle implementations, and a consultative mindset that supports scalable, enterprise-grade data systems.\nResponsibilities\nServe as the primary platform expert for Adobe RTCDP, advising on architecture, governance, and best practices.\nArchitect data models, schemas, datasets, and mappings aligned with client data structures and enterprise-scale AEP and CDP requirements.\nDesign and document identity strategies including identity namespaces, stitching rules, and profile merging logic.\nManage user roles and permissions in AEP to ensure proper access controls.\nOversee system health and lead engineers through regular maintenance protocols to ensure compliance with organizational policies.\nArchitect for Federated Audience Composition (FAC) and federated data access patterns to enable cross-system audience building and data usage, when required.\nPlan and oversee data ingestion pipelines, including batch, streaming, SDK and API, ensuring integrity, completeness, and privacy compliance.\nEnsure datasets are properly enabled for Profile with consent and data quality controls built into the ingestion strategy and data structures.\nPartner with Data Engineers to implement XDM schemas, plan data ingestion and dataset enablement, transformations, event pipelines, and monitoring.\nDefine and optimize segmentation and activation strategies across AEP destinations and downstream systems.\nAlign RTCDP architecture with enterprise data governance, privacy policies, and global data models.\nLead discovery sessions to define use cases, identify data requirements, and uncover technical constraints.\nCreate and present solution architecture documentation, including dataflow diagrams, identity maps, and destination activation models.\nAdvise clients on privacy, consent, identity management, and governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with global policies.\nProvide expert guidance on CDP operational models, adoption patterns, and maturity roadmaps.\nGuide Data Engineers, Analysts, and partner teams throughout build, QA, and deployment cycles.\nValidate data models, ingestion mappings, and identity stitching for accuracy and scalability.\nSupport activation teams through segmentation enablement and data readiness checks.\nContribute to Bounteous CDP Centers of Excellence, frameworks, accelerators, and reusable delivery assets.\nPreferred Qualifications\n7 to 10 or more years of experience in marketing technology, MarTech architecture, or data engineering.\nSeveral full end-to-end Adobe RTCDP implementations completed, including architecture, ingestion, identity design, and activation.\n3 or more years of hands-on Adobe RTCDP and AEP experience, including XDM schema design, profile enablement, ingestion, and identity resolution.\nExperienced with APIs, streaming ingestion, and ETL or ELT pipelines.\nExperience designing for federated data architectures, including Federated Audience Composition (FAC).\nStrong understanding of Identity Service, stitching logic, profile merging, and multi-source identity and privacy challenges.\nExperience with Adobe Tags (Launch), Adobe Analytics, CJA, and Journey Optimizer strongly preferred\nExperience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and data warehouses such as Snowflake, Salesforce CDP, Segment, BigQuery, or Redshift.\nKnowledge of privacy, consent, data governance, GDPR or CCPA, and enterprise security models.\nProficient understanding of programming languages such as Python, Javascript, or SQL.\nExcellent analytical, problem solving, communication, collaboration, solution documentation, and client-facing consulting skills.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.\nInformation Security Responsibilities\nPromote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols\nIdentify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets\nUnderstand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)\nEnsure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive
