Roles and responsibilities

• Generate the seafarers and shore-based employees’ payroll (administration & payroll officer).
• Contribute to monthly salary review and to related administrative declarations.
• Record and control inputs in payroll system.
• Record/import all necessary pay elements such as travel expenses, medical expenses, loan, training, deduction, bonus.
• Ensure that reports are 100% accurate and within the deadlines.
• Ensure Seafarer receives their salary.
• Contribute to the system updates and maintain the Master Data.
• Liaise with Accounting/ Finance departments and provide all necessary documents to ensure accurate invoicing to clients.

Qualifications, Skills and Experiences

• Have at least 2 years of experience as payroll officer or in similar position in a Maritime or oil and gas company;
• Holder of a minimum of Higher School certificate or equivalent;
• Have a good understanding of international payroll regulations;
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Have an excellent knowledge of MS Office/ Excel skills;
• A perfect command of English is mandatory and any other language will be an advantage.;
• Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time, prioritize matters and meet deadlines.
