At The Red Palace, we invite guests to step into a world of history, prestige, and indulgence, where tradition and innovation seamlessly come together.\nJOB TITLE: Restaurant Hostess\nREPORTING TO: Restaurant Head Hostess\nResponsibilities\nGuest Experience and Hospitality\nGreet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor, making them feel valued from the moment they arrive.\n\nEfficiently manage the seating of guests, allocating tables based on party size, guest preferences, and table availability.\n\nProvide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly, and escalating any issues to the Lead Hostess as needed.\n\nMaintain a high level of guest satisfaction by ensuring a smooth and pleasant arrival and seating process.\n\nContribute to the overall ambiance of the restaurant's front-of-house areas by monitoring cleanliness, lighting, and other visual elements.\n\nMaintain accurate guest profiles in the reservation system, recording preferences, special occasions, seating requests, and dietary/allergen requirements.\n\nUpdate guest notes after each visit and communicate key details to the floor team to ensure personalized, consistent service.\n\nOperations and Administrative Support\nAccurately record and maintain guest reservation information, waitlist, and seating assignments.\n\nCommunicate with the server team to ensure timely and coordinated seating of guests.\n\nAssist with the management of front-of-house supplies, such as menus, stationery, and other necessary items.\n\nCollect and compile data on guest counts, wait times, and other relevant metrics to support the Restaurant Head Hostess.\n\nAdhere to the restaurant's policies, procedures, and service standards, and contribute to their continuous improvement.\n\nCollaborate with the Restaurant Head Hostess and the broader restaurant team to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.\n\nDemonstrate a willingness to learn, grow, and take on additional responsibilities as needed.\n\nAct as a brand ambassador, representing the hotel and the restaurant's values with professionalism and enthusiasm.\n\nLiving The Brand\nIs impeccably groomed, charming and graceful\n\nIs thoughtful and welcoming\n\nTake pride in anticipating guest needs through service that is warm, genuine and intuitive\n\nUnderstand what is required to offer “emotional luxury” and to provide service that is elegant and discreet\n\nCreate the guest experience through their senses through all public touch points\n\nEnsuring quality is never compromised\n\nIs generous in spirit with guests and colleagues alike\n\nEstablish the reputation of the hotel in local community for its quality service through hosting local events\n\nEmbrace and practice the hotel’s legacy values and competencies in all client and team interactions.\n\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent;
