You Responsible for the operational oversight of the project management team, reporting to the Project Director. This role will be the number two to the Project Director.\nSummary -\nThe role of the senior project manager is to provide leadership to ensure the project management activities are conducted in compliance with Bovis health, safety, and environmental policies. Responsible for providing technical, commercial, and operational support, together with production, quality, operational/site management support and managing costs whilst creating a supportive and collaborative environment, meeting client expectations and enhancing the reputation of the Bovis business.\nThe role of the senior project manager is to ensure that an effective and productive liaison is established with respect to all aspects of the commercial office delivery, between the design team, project / site team, commercial, client teams and supply chain putting the expertise of all to the best possible use. The Manager will liaise with the Project Director and Design Manager and will be instrumental in coordinating and guiding the consultant team and supply chain through the delivery of the packages to mitigate design risk and maximise value to the client/business.\nKey Responsibilities -\nProvide leadership in the creation of skills, well-being and develop a supportive work environment for delivery staff.\nCreating a detailed project strategy, plan and schedule and managing the project delivery within that plan ensuring the maximum outcomes for the client and Bovis.\nEnsure quality is at a consistently high level and proactively identify quality issues, setting up and monitoring systems and outputs to ensure right first-time construction.\nEstablish and maintain appropriate communication and record keeping with all project stakeholders.\nReview all costs and controls.\nBuild and maintain a qualified and experienced team. Managing the performance and development of the project team through coaching, mentoring and building the required skills and experience to ensure Bovis is recognised as a place people want to work and excels in project delivery.\nProcesses and Systems, use and promote Bovis standard tools and systems to deliver a successful outcome\nRisk Management, develop a comprehensive understanding of project risk and through communication and collaboration.\nCompliance,\nAccountable for the implementation and compliance with all Bovis safety requirements across staff, contractors and work practices ensuring appropriate records are maintained and required reports are available.\nRecognise and reward safe behaviours and practices.\nReview the EHS plans and regularly review lessons learnt.
