We believe AI will reach PhD-level engineering capability within the next 10 years. This will unlock massive value across several complex manufacturing industries. Cars. Planes. Rockets. Factories. Chips. Medical devices. All will be engineered with agents.\nWe bootstrapped BoWatt to €500k+ ARR before raising our first round. BoWatt is backed by tier-1 investors, including Atlantic Foodlabs, Buildery (CDTM affiliates), and Prequel Ventures, along with angels from Cohere and Luminovo.\nYou’ll join a small, exceptional team of startup builders, driven by innovation and execution. Over half the team are former founders across DeepTech AI, psychedelics, and gaming. We’ve studied and worked at top institutions and companies like Stanford, TUM, Google, EA, and YC -backed AI startups.\nThe role\nWork directly with our founder Steven on whichever problems and opportunities matter most to BoWatt's growth.\nThis is a high-ownership generalist role for someone who wants to learn quickly, take responsibility early and help build an ambitious company from the ground up. You will work across different parts of BoWatt rather than joining a narrowly defined function.\nGrow revenue with us. Get involved in our GTM function, from generating pipeline and creating sales materials to running webinars and supporting customer conversations.\n\nGet close to our product and our customers. Support onboarding and adoption of our software in real engineering workflows, join customer calls and bring what you hear back to our product team.\n\nBuild the team. Define hiring needs, improve our recruiting processes and do hands-on recruiting.\n\nBuild the foundation of the company. Organise team events, improve internal processes and keep operations running efficiently.\n\nSupport stakeholder management and investor relations. Prepare board and management-level presentations, reports and analyses for internal and external stakeholders.\n\nYou\nYou're entrepreneurial, hands-on and resilient, and not afraid to get your hands dirty\n\nYou care about speed and results and would rather take action than spend too long discussing what should happen\n\nYou write clearly, speak confidently and know how to get to the point\n\nYou're comfortable working with numbers and operational detail\n\nYou're curious about technical products and enjoy understanding how our customers actually work\n\nYou want impact and ownership in an early-stage company\n\nYou're a self-motivated, high-energy team player\n\nRequirements\nPrevious experience or internships in a startup, VC, sales, consulting, banking or another demanding environment\n\nStrong execution ability as a generalist\n\n4 days per week in our Munich office (Balanstraße)\n\nFluent German required; English is our internal working language\n\nExperience in manufacturing is a bonus\n\nWhat we offer\nCompetitive salary based on experience\n\n25 vacation days per year plus public holidays\n\nCompany retreats\n\nWellpass membership\n\nInterview process\n20-min screening call\n\n1-hr case interview\n\n1-hr culture fit interview\n\nOffer","description_format":"text","description_chars":3134,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"phd","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[{"language":"German","level":"Advanced (C1)","optional":false},{"language":"English","level":"All levels","optional":false}]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Artificial Intelligence","Manufacturing","Higher Education"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-13T04:39:31Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":10,"band":"cold","label":"Long shot","p_open":1,"p_active":0.371,"p_room":0.28,"age_days":88,"expected_fill_days":24,"reasons":["conf:0","win:tail","crowd:"],"computed_at":"2026-11-01T06:10:25Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":561568,"is_top_pay":true},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/bowatt-founders-associate-growth-german-speaking","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/bowatt-founders-associate-growth-german-speaking.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-11-01T08:44:18Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":13558,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-11-02T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":4417275},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=4417275"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fbowatt-founders-associate-growth-german-speaking"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fbowatt-founders-associate-growth-german-speaking"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fbowatt-founders-associate-growth-german-speaking"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/bowatt-founders-associate-growth-german-speaking\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fbowatt-founders-associate-growth-german-speaking"}],"agent":{"mcp":"https://alion.io/mcp/jobs","mcp_open":"https://alion.io/mcp/open","next":[{"tool":"get_job","arguments":{"id":2419493}},{"tool":"search_jobs","arguments":{"company":"bowatt.com","detail":"compact"}},{"tool":"match_people","arguments":{"job_id":2419493},"note":"people open to offers who fit this vacancy"}],"note":"The same data through MCP tools: https://alion.io/mcp/open needs no sign-in (compact searches, postings, people);
