When someone views, edits, or shares content, a policy decision is made against roles and attributes - we own the service that makes it, correctly and in milliseconds, at enormous scale.\nWe're a newly formed team building for other engineers: the APIs, policy models, and primitives product teams across the company rely on to ship access control they can trust.\nWho you are: \n5+ years of professional software development experience\nBe proficient in Java\nInterest in security topics (authentication, identity, industry best practices, etc.)\nExperience building and operating high-scale, business-critical production services\nAssess, communicate and complete project milestones with manager and team members in a time sensitive manner \nMust speak English proficiently \nNice to have:\nScala, PHP, Python, JavaScript or other modern software development language\nPractical experience working with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and Kubernetes\n\nWhat you'll do:\n\nAttend and engage in stand ups and maintain sprint task statuses in issue tracking tool daily\nAttend team, project, and manager 1:1 meetings weekly\nCollaborate with Product Management to help refine requirements and break down complex projects into meaningful, deliverable units \nWork collaboratively with other engineers, team members, across teams, and with partner organizations\nRespond to technical and behavioral feedback from manager and peers\nPlay a role in developing and fostering Box culture\nRepresent Box Poland internally and externalls\nParticipate in the production on-call rotation with the team members\n\nMethodology\nAgile management - Scrum\nIssue tracking tool -Jira\nKnowledge repository - GitHubEnterprise\nCode reviews - GitHubEntreprise \nVersion control system - GIT\n\nBENEFITS\nCheck out the overview of Life at Box which include general perks and benefits.\nBox lives its values, with community and in-person collaboration being a core part of our culture.
