Our technology is already being used across major events, venues, festivals, sports clubs and hospitality organisations and we are growing quickly across the UK and internationally.\nWe are now building a flexible pool of reliable, hands-on event staff who can support the delivery of Boxbar units and bars at live events across the UK.\nAbout the Role\nWe are looking for confident, practical and dependable people to support Boxbar at events across the North West, Midlands and London.\nAs an Event Bar Operations Lead, you will help manage Boxbar units and bar areas during live events. You will support with set-up, operation, venue staff training, customer interaction, basic troubleshooting, cleanliness, breakdown and post-event feedback.\nThis is a hands-on role in live event environments, so you will need to be calm under pressure, comfortable dealing with people and happy working evenings, weekends and busy event days.\nFull training will be provided at our HQ in Wakefield and out in the field, so you do not need to know our technology from day one. What matters most is that you are reliable, professional, practical and willing to learn.\nKey Responsibilities\nYou will be responsible for:\nSupporting the set-up and operation of Boxbar units and bar areas at live events.\nHelping ensure our units are ready, clean, stocked and operating to the required standard.\nSupporting venue teams and event staff with how to use the Boxbar technology.\nActing as a professional Boxbar representative on site.\nHelping troubleshoot basic operational or technical issues during events.\nKeeping Boxbar areas clean, tidy and well presented throughout the event.\nSupporting customer service where required.\nAssisting with breakdown, clean-down, loading and unloading post-event.\nCommunicating clearly with Boxbar management before, during and after events.\nCompleting simple post-event feedback or event reports.\nEscalating any issues quickly and professionally.\nFollowing Boxbar processes, health and safety expectations and site rules.\nAbout You\nWe are looking for people who are:\nReliable, punctual and dependable.\nConfident working in busy live event environments.\nComfortable speaking with clients, venue teams, bar staff and customers.\nPractical, hands-on and happy to get stuck in.\nCalm under pressure and able to solve problems quickly.\nPositive, professional and team-focused.\nFlexible around evenings, weekends and bank holidays.\nComfortable travelling to event sites in your region.\nInterested in events, hospitality, sport, music, venues or technology.\nAble to represent Boxbar to a high standard.\nUseful Experience\nExperience in any of the following would be helpful:\nEvents, festivals, stadiums, arenas or live venues.\nBar work, hospitality, catering or beverage service.\nEvent supervision or team leading.\nBrand ambassador or promotional work.\nCellar, draught dispense or drinks systems.\nField operations, installations or basic technical support.\nCustomer service in fast-paced environments.\nYou do not need to tick every box. If you are reliable, practical, people-focused and keen to learn, we would still like to hear from you.\nPay and Expenses\nThe role pays £15 per hour.\nApproved expenses will be covered where required and agreed in advance, in line with Boxbar’s expenses policy.\nTraining\nFull training will be provided.
