This reflects the wider Boxbar job specification structure and company positioning already used across UK hiring.\nAbout the Role\nWe are looking for reliable, hands-on and professional Event Operations Leads to support Boxbar at live events across the United States.\nIn this role, you will help manage Boxbar units and bar areas on site, making sure our technology is set up correctly, operating smoothly and represented to a high standard throughout the event. You will support venue teams, assist with basic troubleshooting, help keep the area clean and organized, and communicate clearly with the Boxbar team before, during and after each event.\nThis is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience in live events, hospitality, stadiums, arenas, festivals, beverage operations, brand activation, field operations or customer-facing event work.\nFull training will be provided, so you do not need to know our technology from day one. What matters most is that you are dependable, calm under pressure, comfortable working in busy live environments and willing to get stuck in.\nKey Responsibilities\nAs an Event Operations Lead, you will:\nSupport the setup, operation and breakdown of Boxbar units at live events.\n\nEnsure Boxbar units and bar areas are clean, organized, stocked and ready for service.\n\nAssist with basic technical checks and first-line troubleshooting during events.\n\nTrain and support venue staff on how to use Boxbar equipment correctly.\n\nAct as a professional on-site representative for Boxbar.\n\nCommunicate clearly with venue teams, event partners and Boxbar management.\n\nMonitor the performance of the units during the event and escalate issues quickly.\n\nSupport customer service and guest experience where required.\n\nHelp maintain safe, tidy and compliant working areas throughout the event.\n\nAssist with loading, unloading, equipment movement and post-event clean down.\n\nComplete simple post-event reports and feedback forms.\n\nFollow all Boxbar operating procedures, venue policies and health and safety requirements.\n\nSupport wider event delivery activity where needed.\n\nAbout You\nWe are looking for people who are:\nReliable, punctual and professional.\n\nConfident working in busy, high-pressure live event environments.\n\nPractical, hands-on and comfortable with physical work.\n\nCalm, solution-focused and able to think clearly when things change quickly.\n\nComfortable speaking with venue teams, bar teams, clients and customers.\n\nAble to follow processes and escalate issues when needed.\n\nFlexible around evenings, weekends, holidays and event schedules.\n\nComfortable working on your feet for long periods.\n\nInterested in events, hospitality, sport, music, venues, technology or beverage service.\n\nMotivated by being part of a fast-growing international technology company.\n\nExperience We’d Love to See\nYou do not need to tick every box, but experience in any of the following would be useful:\nLive events, festivals, stadiums, arenas or large venues.\n\nBar operations, beverage service, hospitality or catering.\n\nEvent supervision, team leading or shift leadership.\n\nBrand ambassador, promotional or field marketing work.\n\nField operations, installations or hands-on technical support.\n\nCustomer service in fast-paced environments.\n\nDraft beer, beverage dispense, cellar or bar equipment experience.\n\nWorking with technology, hardware or operational equipment.\n\nCompleting event reports, handover notes or shift summaries.\n\nRequirements\nMust be 18 years of age or older.\n\nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States.\n\nMust be able to work event-based shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.\n\nMust be able to travel to event sites as required.\n\nMust be comfortable with physical work, including standing for long periods, lifting, moving equipment and supporting setup/breakdown.\n\nMust be able to follow venue rules, safety procedures and Boxbar operating standards.\n\nAccess to reliable transportation is preferred.\n\nAlcohol service certification may be required depending on the state, venue and event.\n\nPay and Expenses\nThis is an hourly, event-based role paid at $[insert hourly rate/range] per hour.\nApproved business travel and event-related expenses will be reimbursed in line with Boxbar’s expenses policy. Any expenses must be approved in advance unless otherwise agreed.\nPay range: $20-$25 per hour, depending on location and experience\nTraining\nFull training will be provided.
