This is a hands-on role where technical expertise, problem-solving, and adaptability come together to support Boxbot’s mission.\nWhat You’ll Do\n- Assemble, test, and troubleshoot robotic systems and supporting infrastructure\n- Support the development and refinement of standard operating procedures\n- Collect, analyze, and document system performance data during testing and deployments\n- Assist engineering teams with prototype builds, field tests, and feasibility projects\n- Provide on-site technical support during installations, commissioning, and maintenance\n- Perform electrical wiring, harness assembly, and connector installations\n- Contribute to process improvements by documenting best practices and lessons learned\nQualifications\n- Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical systems, robotics, or automation hardware\n- Proficiency with fabrication tools, wiring, and electrical connectors\n- Familiarity with industrial controls, networking, or system integration\n- Ability to interpret electrical/mechanical drawings and perform precise measurements\n- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to deliver practical field fixes under tight deadlines\n- Comfortable working in industrial environments and with equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks\n- Bonus skills: electrical panel building, machining, or CNC operation\n- A team-oriented mindset, eagerness to learn, and adaptability in a fast-moving environment\nLocation & Travel\nThis role is based in Alameda, CA. Travel may be required for system installations, testing, and customer support. Willing to travel occasionally during project deployments (up to 2-3 weeks at a time).
