Our past success, our current business philosophies and our sound business planning, combine to position Boyd Gaming Corporation to maximize value for our shareholders, our team members and our communities.\n THIS POSITION IS ON SITE IN LAS VEGAS, NV\nAssist in development of the Corporate cloud strategy and cloud governance\nDesign architecture for hybrid cloud integration solutions\nRecommend new cloud services to develop conceptual designs\nIdentify cloud solutions that align with the business strategy\nEvaluate cloud capabilities to support business initiatives\nAsist in selecting vendors for IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and integration capabilities\nMaintain cloud governance documentation\nAssist in proper identification and tagging of cloud services and resources\nProvide status reports and escalation of issues as appropriate\nDevelop cloud training plan for other teams and business stakeholders\nDevelop, document, make recommendations, and communicate plans for investing in IT cloud infrastructure, including analysis of cost reduction opportunities\nDesign, develop, and oversee implementation of end-to-end IT cloud integrations\nDevelop and execute test plans to check IT cloud infrastructure and systems technical performance. Report on findings and make recommendations for improvement\nCollaborate across the IT organization and with vendors\nFoster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement\nOther duties and responsibilities as assigned\nEssential Job Duties & Functions:\nEnsure the availability, performance, scalability and security of cloud services to conform with IT policy\nMaintain overall Cloud infrastructure (i.e., EC2, SQS, S3, VPC, Lambda etc.)\nSetup alerts for monitoring performance of various cloud applications and services\nEnsure that all cloud engineering procedures are well documented\nJob Specifications:\nStrong knowledge of cloud networking using VPCs, Private Links, Transit Gateway\nDeep understanding of cloud storage solutions such as S3, EBS, EFS, RDS\nHands on experience managing serverless solutions\nAWS associate or professional certification in one or more areas is required\nExperience with containerization with Docker and Kubernetes\nMust be at least 21 years of age.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical discipline preferred.
