In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen facilities while ensuring compliance with health department regulations and company standards.\nClean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and kitchen equipment using dishwashers and manual washing methods\nMaintain cleanliness of the entire kitchen area through regular sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing\nOrganize and store clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in designated areas\nMonitor and maintain dish machine cleanliness and functionality\nHandle and dispose of trash according to established procedures\nSupport kitchen staff by providing clean equipment and supplies as needed\nEnsure proper chemical handling and storage procedures\nMaintain compliance with health department regulations and food safety standards\nPerform opening and closing duties as assigned\nKeep work areas organized and clutter-free\nReport any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisors\nParticipate in required training programs and safety meetings\nOther duties as required\n High school diploma or equivalent\nMinimum 6 months experience in kitchen stewarding or related food service operations\nKnowledge of proper cleaning techniques and sanitation standards\nUnderstanding of cleaning chemicals and their safe application\nPhysical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, hot kitchen environment\nBasic English communication skills\nStrong attention to detail and organizational abilities\nAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment\nMust be {AGE} or older\nMust successfully pass background check and drug screening\nFlexibility to work various shifts as needed\n
