As such, the Spa Concierge assumes a vital role in each and every logistical operation relating directly and indirectly to overall guest satisfaction and ultimate success of the spa. Given the integral nature of the position, the spa concierge demeanor must be reflective at all times and of the highest standards of professionalism exemplified by IP. A consistently positive attitude, knowledge of all facets of the operation and attention to detail are traits which our spa receptionists must possess.\nConstantly answering phones, booking appointments, checking guests in and out of the facility and completing all shift reports and paperwork accurately\nConstantly demonstrates exceptional knowledge of the spa’s treatments, products used, their benefits, and ingredients and be able to communicate these to guests\nConstantly informing guests of all services available, describing each in detail, and booking according to guests needs and preferences\nConstantly provide excellent guest services to all spa guests\nConstantly up-selling services to groups and clients to increase spa revenues\nConstantly assist guests with retail product selections and educate them on correct use\nConstantly ensuring efficient, correct and accurate POS with all tickets\nConstantly proactively monitoring the books to ensure:\nReservations, including group reservations, are complete and correct in order to foresee and prevent problems and guest complaints\nReservations are made with regard to productivity to reduce the amount of down time for therapists, estheticians, and salon staff.\nConstantly ascertaining satisfaction of guests upon check-out and dealing with guest complaints as appropriate\nConstantly monitoring the guest areas of spa to ensure that the front desk, retail area, locker areas, are at all times neat, orderly, and well stocked\nConstantly participating in meetings to discuss and share pertinent information with spa management and to find ways to improve guest service, product quality, and productivity\nConstantly communicate to management and pass on pertinent information regarding the facility, associates, guests, supplies/repairs needed, and other relevant information\nConstantly ensuring that service standards are met at all times for the front of spa areas including front desk, retail area, and locker areas; following all policies and procedures as provided by spa manager\nConstantly make all guests feel welcome and take ownership of simple requests\nConstantly report any guest issues\nConstantly completing special tasks deemed necessary by spa management in a timely manner and without prompting\nConstantly perform any or all duties as assigned by management\nConstantly comply with all policies and procedures\nConstantly complete all established checklists\nConstantly follow uniform and grooming guidelines\nConstantly help in all areas of the spa\nConstantly always look for organization opportunities without being asked to do so\nConstantly follow the V.I.E.W. steps on a consistent basis\nOccasionally help train new associates\nMust be 18 years of age\n2 years college or equivalent experience\n1+ year employment in a spa/salon environment\nRetail experiences a plus\nA superior sense of organization, control, and ability to prioritize in a fast paced, busy environment.\nAbility to type at least 40 words per minute\nMust possess excellent communication skills with the ability to express self in a professional, clear, and concise fashion.\nMust present a polished, impeccable appearance and a professional demeanor\nMust be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team\nMust be able to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends\nPreferred spa knowledge and computer knowledge\nOral and written proficiency in the English language\nConstant standing, sitting, listening, reading, and speaking \nConstantly using wrist motion, dexterity, eye/hand coordination, writing.\nPhysically able to stand, bend, lean, and walk for up to 10 hours.
