Analyze variances and develop optimization tools for Boyd Gaming labor standards. Train junior analysts and support operational decision-making using Virtual Roster data.\nAnalyze business needs to determine proper staffing levels and create the most efficient schedule; prepare and post all departmental schedules on a weekly basis.\nRecommend staffing policies and procedures to ensure consistency and overall standardized practices.\nPrepare forecasts and work schedules for various departments ensuring adequate staffing for excellent customer service.\nAnalyze departmental KPIs and develop, prepare, and present data-driven shift bid proposals for leadership review.\nMaintain accurate and timely records of staffing levels in order to schedule per business needs and increase overall productivity.\nProvide input to staffing planning goals based on knowledge of departmental capacity and potential.\nApproval or rejection of ongoing requests for shift changes, change in days off and requested time off in comparison to staffing needs.\nCommunicate effectively with employees and all levels of management.\nWork closely with Human Resources and Payroll to ensure all scheduling practices comply with labor laws and company policies.\nPerform all functions with the highest level of integrity.\nAll duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and company policies, practices, and procedures.\nPerform all other job-related duties as requested\nTrains Workforce Planning Analyst on job duties.\nCoaches team members to enhance job performance and can create and implement action plans if needed\nAssists with any Virtual Roster launch, configurations, and ongoing responsibilities with projects.\nResponsible for maintaining and updating Virtual Roster in all aspects.\nAssumes the responsibilities of the Manager in their absence.\n 4 - 7+ years industry/analytical/operational experience\nKnowledge of overall principles of operations and staffing requirements\nStrong problem solving, analytical skills.\nUse computer systems and projection technology to create, communicate and present information as well as review data, research alternatives, document information, prepare action and implement results.\nMust have intermediate level skills with Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook and basic office equipment.\nAbility to understand change management.\nWorking knowledge of state specific laws and requirements.\nGood written and verbal communication skills and demonstrate ability to resolve all situations in a professional manner.\nExcellent customer service skills.
