This position is focused on the design, development, deployment and support of enterprise and customer-facing mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms.\nDevelops, designs and programs various software applications, services and integrations for application performance, scalability and compatibility.\nDevelops, designs and maintains native mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.\nParticipates in the architecture, design, implementation and support of customer-facing mobile applications.\nMonitors and tunes software applications and services. Performs maintenance on software, mobile applications and supporting platforms.\nPerforms troubleshooting in the form of problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution and follow-up.\nProvides tier II or tier III support; performs root cause analysis and develops checklists.\nAnticipates and mitigates potential attacks to applications, software, services and supporting infrastructure to ensure the security of systems and data.\nInterfaces with vendors regarding new product evaluation and troubleshooting issues.\nUnder general supervision, integrates and schematically depicts application architectures, software components, integrations, data flows and communication patterns.\nLeads functional and empirical analysis related to design, development, planning and configuration of software applications and mobile platforms.\nCollaborates with UX/UI designers, product owners and backend development teams to deliver secure, scalable and high-performing mobile solutions.\nDevelops and maintains integrations with enterprise APIs and cloud-based services.\nDevelops P&Ps and general standards.\nRecommends procedures and controls for problem prevention.\nSimulates or recreates problems to resolve operational deficiencies.\nUnder general supervision analyzes, makes recommendations, creates charts, diagrams and graphs to assist in analysis of problems or designs.\nDevelops and maintains problem databases.\nParticipates in the development of test strategies, devices and systems.\nDevelops and reviews technical documentation for approval by senior manager.\nParticipates in implementations and leads technical implementation and rollouts of new software applications, mobile solutions and supporting tools.\nCoordinates installations and implementations with user departments.\nParticipates in application publishing, release management and deployment activities for Apple App Store and Google Play Store platforms.\nMonitors mobile application performance, crash reporting and usage analytics and recommends improvements.\nParticipates in mobile application security reviews and implements industry best practices for data protection and secure communications.\nParticipates in the development of automated testing, deployment and release processes for mobile applications.\nAssists and participates in disaster recovery planning and testing.\nResearches and identifies software and technology solutions to meet company needs.\nUnder general supervision prepares detailed functional specifications and coordinates RFP processes.\nOther duties as assigned by management.\n Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline and/or equivalent applied experience required.\n7+ years of professional software development experience required.\nITIL V4 Awareness Training preferred.\nProven ability to lead and mentor junior engineers in design, development and deployment activities.\nDemonstrable skills and 5+ years of experience developing enterprise-grade mobile applications in complex systems environments.\n5+ years working with API design, documentation, maintenance, support and integration of REST and GraphQL services.\n5+ years of experience developing mobile applications using professional programming languages, frameworks and platforms including Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Java or JavaScript.\n5+ years of experience developing, maintaining and supporting applications on both iOS and Android platforms.\nExperience with Apple Xcode, Android Studio and mobile application debugging, diagnostics and performance analysis tools.\nStrong understanding of object-oriented analysis and design (OOP/OOA&D), design patterns and modern application architecture including MVC, MVVM and Clean Architecture principles.\nWorking knowledge of mobile networking, API integration, authentication and security protocols including OAuth, OpenID Connect, SSL/TLS, secure credential management and mobile application security best practices.\nExperience integrating mobile applications with cloud-based and enterprise services.\nExperience developing applications that consume REST and GraphQL APIs.\nExperience in the full lifecycle design of software as well as commercial/open-source development processes and development tools.\nProven ability to produce technical documentation including software architecture diagrams, requirements documents and other design artifacts.\nExperience with automated testing frameworks and mobile UI testing tools.\nExperience with mobile application analytics, crash reporting and performance monitoring platforms.\nDemonstrable experience successfully publishing, releasing and maintaining applications in both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store ecosystems.\nWorking knowledge of Apple App Store Review Guidelines and Google Play Developer policies and requirements.\nExperience managing application certificates, provisioning profiles, code signing, store submissions, TestFlight deployments, Google Play testing tracks, phased rollouts and production release management processes.\nExperience resolving application review findings, store certification issues and deployment challenges.\nPreferred experience with AWS and/or Azure environments and tools.\nPreferred experience consuming and creating/maintaining Mulesoft end points.\nPreferred knowledge of CI/CD and deployment pipelines including automated mobile build, test and release workflows.\nPreferred experience implementing mobile application security controls including secure storage, biometric authentication and certificate pinning.\nPreferred experience with Firebase, mobile analytics and customer engagement platforms.\nPreferred experience with Sitecore Headless CMS, Experience Edge API and GraphQL-based content delivery architectures.\nPreferred experience building and supporting customer-facing applications in high-availability, high-transaction environments.\nPreferred real-time transaction processing experience.\nPreferred experience utilizing AI-assisted development and diagnostic tools.\nMust be able to obtain and maintain any necessary
