This role reports to the Director of Compliance.\nThe successful candidate will provide subject-matter expertise on AML requirements, oversee the effectiveness of AML controls and processes, and work closely with Regulatory Compliance, Legal, Payments and Fraud, Risk, and other business functions to ensure regulatory obligations are understood and implemented.\nThis role requires deep knowledge of rules and regulations, strong operational oversight capabilities, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally while driving a culture of compliance throughout the business. The Compliance Manager will oversee AML compliance programs, regulatory reporting, audit and internal controls activities, and policy management to ensure all Boyd Interactive products, services, and operational practices meet applicable compliance standards and regulatory expectations.\nResponsibilities\nProvide subject-matter expertise on AML/CFT requirements across applicable jurisdictions in Canada and the US\nMonitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the business and AML framework.\nSupport the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of AML policies, procedures, and internal controls\nOversee the preparation, accuracy, and submission of required regulatory reports SAR/STR across multiple jurisdictions\nProvide oversight and guidance on KYC, customer due diligence, and enhanced due diligence requirements\nOversee fraud monitoring activities, suspicious activity investigations, reporting obligations, and related compliance analysis\nSupport ongoing audits and compliance reviews, including coordinating responses to audit requests, providing supporting documentation and evidence, addressing findings, and tracking remediation activities through to completion\nServe as a primary liaison between the business and various State, Provincial, and Federal regulators\nDevelop and oversee compliance training initiatives and awareness programs for employees across the organization\nBuild strong relationships with internal stakeholders, participate in strategic and operational leadership discussions, and lead the SAR/STR committee\nStay informed of evolving regulatory requirements and emerging compliance trends across North American gaming jurisdictions\nTHE CANDIDATE\nEducation & Certification/License Credentials\nBachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience\nCAMS or equivalent AML certification considered an asset\nExperience supporting regulatory examinations or audits\nExperience across multiple North American jurisdictions\nFunctional Competencies - Skills, Knowledge, & Experience\n5+ years of casino and/or online gaming industry experience within regulated environments\nProven leadership experience within a compliance function in the gaming, financial services, or similarly regulated industry\nExperience managing or leading internal and external audits and regulatory examinations\nStrong understanding of AML, Responsible Gaming, regulatory compliance frameworks, and risk management principles\nDemonstrated ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into operational requirements and business processes\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving regulatory environment\nStrong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving capabilities\nExcellent written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder management skills\nStrong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail\nExperience interacting directly with gaming regulators and licensing bodies preferred\nWilling and able to obtain gaming licenses in all required jurisdictions, including completion of all background investigations and regulatory filings\nExperience filing reports with FINCEN, FINTRAC, and similar regulatory agencies is preferred\nLegal, regulatory, or licensing operations experience within the gaming industry is considered an asset\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)\nPersonal Attributes\nTeam player, collaborative, approachable, supportive, positive, open, patient, diplomatic and respectful.\nA confident, proactive and results-oriented individual with the demeanor, maturity, and intellect required to quickly establish trust and credibility.\nExceptional interpersonal, listening, and conflict management skills.
