Reporting into the CFO, the Group Financial Controller will oversee accounting, reporting, tax, and treasury processes, while driving operational efficiency and supporting business growth.\nThis role requires a hands-on leader with a deep understanding of financial operations in a regulated, multi-jurisdictional environment. The Group Financial Controller will act as a trusted partner to the CFO, ensuring that the finance function delivers accurate and timely information and insights that support decision-making at senior levels.\nFinancial Operations\nLead the day-to-day financial management, including general ledger, accounts payable, and treasury.\n\nEnsure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting on both Profit & Loss and Balance Sheets.\n\nOversee and ensure Balance Sheet Reconciliations.\n\nManage the consolidation of financial results across multiple jurisdictions.\n\nOversee cash flow management and working capital optimisation.\n\nGovernance & Compliance\nEnsure compliance with all statutory, audit, and tax obligations across the Company’s international footprint(including Ireland and the UK).\n\nEvaluate financial risks and implement robust financial controls to mitigate any identified risks, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulatory framework.\n\nCoordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion and resolution of findings.\n\nBusiness Partnering & Reporting\nProvide the Finance Director with accurate financial data, analysis, and commentary to support decision-making.\n\nPrepare management reporting packs, including financial performance analysis and KPI tracking.\n\nSupport business units with financial insights to improve profitability and operational performance.\n\nTeam Leadership & Development\nLead, mentor, and develop the finance operations team to ensure capability and accuracy. Provide guidance where needed and support to ensure the efficient running of the team and processes.\n\nPromote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance.\n\nEnsure strong collaboration across departments including Operations, HR, IT, Marketing, and Compliance.\n\nCore Role Requirements\nProven experience in a Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager role, ideally within a regulated industry.\n\nStrong track record in managing multi-entity, multi-jurisdictional financial operations.\n\nDemonstrated ability to implement and maintain strong financial controls.\n\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills.\n\nAbility to balance operational detail with broader commercial priorities.\n\nQualifications and Educational Requirements\nProfessional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) is essential.\n\nDegree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is desirable.\n\nEvidence of continuous professional development.\n\nSpecialist Skills and Experience Required\nExpertise in statutory reporting, tax compliance, and audit management.\n\nDeep knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP requirements across multiple jurisdictions.\n\nProficiency with ERP systems(preferable Oracle fusion), financial software, and process automation.\n\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.\n\nHands-on approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.\n\nExperience in leading and developing high-performing finance teams.\n\nAbility to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment, particularly within retail and online business models.\n\nCompany:\nBOYLE Sports is an international sports betting and gaming company, with an extensive online business and retail portfolio.
