The Construction Superintendent (Manager) is responsible for providing overall construction leadership, governance and assurance for safe, predictable and efficient field execution on the Bluesky project at Kwinana Energy Hub. This is achieved through:

• Providing visible construction leadership and HSSE governance and self-verification.
• Leading contract performance and delivery of critical site construction services.
• Ensuring robust construction execution readiness, contractor assurance and field delivery support.
• Providing overall leadership and coordination of the construction function across the project.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

• Champion HSSE across all construction activities, ensuring compliance with BP standards and safe execution in the field.
• Provide construction input and readiness support and lead and manage all construction activities, ensuring effective pre-mobilisation planning, execution preparedness and field delivery support.
• Develop and lead the Bluesky construction execution strategy through all stages of the project lifecycle.
• Provide construction input during front-end loading, constructability reviews, construction feasibility and assurance reviews.
• Maintain accountability for the Construction Execution Plan and lead construction input into the Project Execution Plan.
• Lead and manage interfaces between the project and key stakeholders, including Operations, Maintenance and contractors, to ensure safe and efficient SIMOPS execution.
• Drive continuous improvement in construction execution, contractor performance and field productivity.
• Provide construction assurance and self-verification, including oversight of contractors.
• Establish and maintain a disciplined self-verification and oversight process that provides confidence in construction readiness, execution quality and compliance with project, HSSE and technical requirements.
• Monitor and manage contractor safety, quality, cost and schedule performance against agreed contractual requirements.
• Provide overall construction leadership across contractors and construction work fronts, ensuring priorities, interfaces and execution requirements are effectively managed.
