You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping contract strategies, mitigating risks, and enabling to deliver projects that power the future of energy.\nYour expertise will help us secure the right partnerships, protect bp’s interests, and drive value across our global procurement operations!\nWhat You'll Do\nLead and handle contract advisory activities across procurement categories, ensuring alignment with principles, legal requirements, and industry standard methodologies.\nDevelop, maintain, and continuously improve contract templates, playbooks, and guidance materials to support consistent, high-quality contracting.\nPartner with category managers, legal teams, SMEs and business partners to provide experienced advice on contract drafting, negotiation, and risk mitigation.\nSupport complex contract negotiations, ensuring commercial and legal terms are balanced and value-driven.\nMonitor contract performance and compliance, seeing opportunities for improvement and cost optimization.\nContribute to training and capability-building initiatives for procurement and business teams on contracting standard processes.\nSupport other contracting initiatives roll out within Contract Lifecycle Management Team\nWhat You'll Bring\nProven experience in contract management, procurement, or commercial advisory roles-preferably in the energy, engineering, or large-scale project sectors.\nStrong knowledge of contract law, commercial terms, and risk management principles.\nExcellent partner management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions and geographies.\nA thorough mindset with the ability to see the bigger strategic picture.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.\nProficiency in contract lifecycle management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.\nRequired Qualifications & Experience\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Law (preferable), Business, Supply Chain, or related discipline.\nMinimum 8 years’ experience in contract management, procurement, or commercial advisory roles-preferably in the energy, oil & gas, or large-scale industrial sectors.\nSolid understanding of contract law, procurement principles, and risk management frameworks.\nProven ability to interpret complex contractual terms and translate them into actionable guidance.\nHigh attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.\nExperience with contract management tools (e.g., Ariba, Sirion, Compass) is an advantage.\nAt bp, we provide the following environment and benefits to you:\nA company culture where we respect our diverse and unified teams, where we are proud of our achievements and where fun and the attitude of giving back to our environment are highly valued\nPossibility to join our social communities and networks\nLearning opportunities and other development opportunities to craft your career path\nLife and health insurance, medical care package\nAnd many other benefits.\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
