This role partners with global teams to develop analytical solutions, enhance reporting capabilities, and deliver insights that support risk awareness, operational efficiency, and central initiatives.\nJob Summary\nCredit Analytics & Risk Insights\nSupport the development and enhancement of credit risk models, analytics, and reporting solutions.\nAnalyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, concentrations, and portfolio insights.\nDevelop dashboards, metrics, and decision-support tools that improve visibility of credit risk drivers.\nTranslate data and analytical findings into clear business insights and recommendations.\nData Management & Technology\nManage and improve core credit data, reporting processes, and data quality initiatives.\nBuild and enhance automated solutions, algorithms, and reporting tools to support business needs.\nContribute to technology initiatives focused on automation, system enhancements, data integration, and process improvement.\nUse analytical and visualization tools such as Power BI, Python, SQL, or similar technologies.\nCollaboration & Continuous Improvement\nPartner with team members to understand data requirements and deliver effective analytical solutions.\nPromote data-driven decision-making through clear communication and engagement across teams.\nSupport innovation by exploring new technologies, methodologies, and analytical approaches.\nDevelop knowledge of credit risk frameworks, commercial drivers, and industry standard processes.\nQualifications\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field preferred.\nEquivalent combinations of education, professional experience, and transferable skills will also be considered.\nProfessional Background\nRelevant experience in analytics, risk management, quantitative analysis, finance, data science, business intelligence, or related fields.\nExperience working with data visualization, reporting, and analytical tools.\nFamiliarity with credit risk concepts, financial models, or risk management frameworks is beneficial.\nExperience with tools such as Power BI, Python, SQL, VBA, Dataiku, Databricks, or similar platforms is advantageous.\nSkills & Competencies\nStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.\nAbility to work with large datasets and communicate insights effectively.\nEffective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.\nCollaborative approach and ability to work across diverse teams and functions.\nCuriosity, adaptability, and a continuous learning mindset.\nComfort navigating ambiguity and solving problems iteratively.\nInterest in leveraging technology and data to drive business improvement.\nAdvanced English proficiency.\nWork Location & Shift Pattern\nFull-time position.\nNegligible travel requirements.\nRelocation assistance not available. \nWhy join us\nAt bp, we support our people to learn and grow in a diverse and ambitious environment.
