At-will means that either you or Archaea may terminate your employment at any time, with or without cause, and with or without prior notice.\nAbout the role\nAs a Field Service Technician, you will represent Conifer Systems and be responsible for installation, commissioning, and repair of industrial combustion and environmental equipment including oxidizers, ovens, furnaces, flares, vapor combustors, vapor recovery units, scrubbers, bag houses, skids and other equipment or systems and associated controls. This position will be servicing equipment in North America and Mexico.\nLocated in Houston, TX, Conifer Systems has been in business for over 15-years and is seeing unprecedented growth. We contribute our success to our long-term employees, and an environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and professional development.\nKey accountabilities\nMechanical and/or Electronics or equivalent work experience or training/education accepted or Five years industrial mechanical/electrical field service experience and/or training in combustion or industrial training.\nProficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.\nMust have and maintain a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.\nMust be a self-starter, able to work independently and in a team environment.\nMust be able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.\nAbility to solve problems, think analytically and communicate professionally in high pressure, time sensitive, customer environment.\nExcellent communications skills, both written and verbal are required\nCombustion and environmental equipment and burner management systems (e.g. oxidizers, ovens, flares, etc.)\nWiring, terminations, debugging\nRead electrical/ladder schematics and ladder logic diagrams\nRead P&ID’s and mechanical drawings\nFamiliar with industry specifications, e.g. NEMA, NEC/NFPA, UL, etc.\nFamiliar with PLC Control Systems, preferably Programming/Debugging\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be willing to travel extensively including globally.\nMust be able to drive and work in inclement weather conditions for extended periods.\nMust be able to fly and otherwise travel domestically and internationally.\nMust be able to work with the team in developing improved work processes for the department.\nAbility to lift objects weighing up to 75 pounds.\nKEY DUTIES INCLUDE:\nTravel as required\nInstall and commission industrial systems\nComplete field assembly of equipment as required\nPerform troubleshooting and repair existing systems\nControls troubleshooting\nPerform maintenance services\nTrain customer personnel\nAny other duty, responsibility or task as assigned by Manager\nEssential education\nRequires a High School Diploma or equivalent.\n\nEssential experience\nProgrammable Logic Controllers: 2 years (Preferred)\nBurner Management Systems: 2 years (Preferred)\nPollution Control: 2 years (Preferred)\nWhy join us?\nDelivering a better and more balanced energy system requires many different approaches and solutions.
