If you enjoy solving business challenges, working with a variety of customers, and making a visible impact, we'd love to hear from you!\nWhat you'll do\nAs an M&A Consultant, you'll play a key role in delivering successful transactions and integration programmes by combining business insight, data-driven decision making, and strong communication skills.\nKey responsibilities include:\nSupporting and leading activities across the M&A lifecycle, including due diligence, integration planning, and post-acquisition transformation.\nAssessing acquisition opportunities, identifying value creation opportunities, operational impacts, and business risks.\nPartnering with leaders and teams to compose future operating models, organisational structures, and integration plans.\nFacilitating workshops and collaborative discussions to tackle business challenges and support decision-making.\nHelping align cultures, behaviours, and ways of working while supporting employees through change.\nDeveloping engagement and communication plans that keep employees advised, involved, and motivated.\nIdentifying leadership strengths, key talent, and organisational capability needs within acquired businesses.\nAnalysing business, workforce, and financial data to support recommendations and integration decisions.\nManaging organisational change activities and helping teams adapt optimally to new structures and processes.\nWorking across multiple business functions to help achieve integration objectives and deliver measurable outcomes.\nContributing ideas and insights that support BP's long-term growth and transformation ambitions.\nWhat we're looking for\nWe're interested in people who combine M&A experience with strong consulting, organisational change, and problem-solving skills.\nYou may be a great fit if you have:\nExperience in mergers and acquisitions, strategy consulting, organisational consulting, business transformation, or a related field.\nStrong analytical skills and the ability to turn complex information into clear recommendations.\nExperience supporting organisational change, large-scale transformation, or integration programmes.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nConfidence working with people at all levels of an organisation.\nExperience facilitating workshops, meetings, and group decision-making sessions.\nKnowledge of culture change, employee engagement, or organisational effectiveness programmes.\nThe ability to influence outcomes through collaboration, credibility, and strong relationship-building skills.\nSound judgement when handling sensitive people and organisational matters.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, financial modelling, and reporting.\nAn adaptable and proactive approach, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment.\nExperience within a large multinational organisation or consulting environment is advantageous.\nWhy join our team?\nAt BP, we support our people to learn, grow, and do their best work in a diverse and challenging environment.
