This role plays a key part in ensuring database accuracy, system availability, effective troubleshooting, and seamless execution of menu, pricing, loyalty, and promotional changes while partnering closely with Operations, IT, and other key stakeholders.\nJob Summary\nAloha Online Ordering & Promotional Management\nManage the NCR Aloha Online Ordering system and maintain the Online Menu Database.\nPerform ongoing system maintenance and troubleshoot technology failures, providing appropriate direction and escalation when needed.\nManage and maintain the Promotional Coupon Code Database.\nEnsure accurate and timely implementation of online menu, promotional, and system updates.\nAloha Loyalty Management\nManage the NCR Aloha Loyalty platform.\nConfigure loyalty bonus plans and Smart Rewards programs.\nProvide customer service and technical support to guests via phone and/or email.\nCreate monthly reports based on loyalty member data and customer behaviors.\nAloha CFC Database & Pricing\nManage and maintain the Aloha CFC database.\nExecute database change requests in accordance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).\nBuild database elements for new menu items, item modifications, and pricing adjustments.\nExecute sales tax changes based on direction from the Tax Department.\nSupport franchise database changes for participating franchise groups as needed.\nTest and validate database changes to ensure accuracy and functionality.\nManage price changes across supported restaurant operations.\nTechnical Support & Stakeholder Collaboration\nProvide technical support and troubleshooting for database-related issues.\nPartner closely with IT, Operations, and other departments to ensure seamless integration and functionality of the Aloha POS environment.\nSupport Point of Sale systems that enable accurate customer ordering, payment processing, and sales data flow into Operations, Accounting, and Financial systems.\nCollaborate effectively with Store Managers, restaurant operators, internal team members, vendors, suppliers, and other key stakeholders.\nQualifications\nProfessional Background\nProven experience in database administration, preferably supporting NCR Aloha POS systems or similar Point of Sale environments.\nExperience managing, maintaining, configuring, and upgrading POS or operational databases.\nDemonstrated experience providing technical support and troubleshooting database-related issues.\nAbility to work collaboratively with IT, Operations, and cross-functional teams supporting business-critical systems.\nTechnical Skills\nStrong knowledge of NCR Aloha POS databases and database management practices.\nStrong SQL skills for database querying, maintenance, and management.\nExperience with database performance tuning, issue identification, and troubleshooting.\nFamiliarity with operating systems such as Linux and Windows.\nKnowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.\nSkills & Competencies\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve database and system issues.\nHigh attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in database management and documentation.\nEffective communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical stakeholders.\nStrong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.\nAdaptable and comfortable responding to changing priorities and unexpected technical challenges.\nCustomer-service mindset with the ability to effectively support internal stakeholders and external users.\nTravel Requirement:\nNo travel is expected with this roleRelocation Assistance:\nThis role is not eligible for relocationRemote Type:\nThis position is a hybrid of office/remote workingSkills:\nAgility core practices, Analytical Thinking, Business process improvement, Commercial Acumen, Communication, Conflict Management, Creativity and Innovation, Customer centric thinking, Customer enquiries, Customer experience, Customer Service, Customer Support, Customer Value Proposition, Digital Fluency, Resilience, Self-Awareness, Sustainability awareness and action, Understanding Emotions, Workload Prioritization.\n\n Legal Disclaimer:\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
