This role operates plant inlet,\ncompression, process areas, and associated systems while supporting reliable production, maintenance readiness, process safety, and emergency response.\nKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:\nOperate facilities safely, economically, and with environmental awareness.\nEnsure safe working conditions and compliance with all safety and environmental\npractices and procedures.\nDevelop and execute energy isolation plans for maintenance activities.\nUse the verification application to verify critical work and document failures.\nOperate plant inlet, compression, process areas, and associated systems.\nMaximize production by meeting product specifications, supporting maximum facility runtime, and collaborating effectively with other disciplines and teams.\nProvide positive leadership while contributing as a team player.\nComplete daily read-ups and follow up on parameters outside normal operating ranges.\nTroubleshoot operational and maintenance problems.\nPerform routine housekeeping of the plant and process areas.\nShare knowledge with coworkers and support personal and company business goals and objectives.\nInterface with Maintenance, Production teams, gas distribution companies, and other parts of the BPX organization.\nIdentify required maintenance on plant equipment and related systems and\ncomplete computerized work orders.\nPrepare plant equipment and piping systems for maintenance.\nUse available training resources to strengthen technical capabilities.\nMaintain required operator training, emergency preparedness skills, and the\nknowledge needed to assist with plant emergencies.\nUse hand tools, climb ladders and stairs to process-vessel elevations, open and close process valves, and operate motor vehicles.\nTake an active role in the Process Safety Management program and DOT pipeline compliance.\nESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nAt least five years of experience in oil and gas operations or a related industry.\nProficiency with mechanical equipment and automation or instrumentation\nsystems.\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills.\nPersonal commitment to safety and environmental awareness.\nUnderstanding of process safety concepts and their application.\nAbility to read and use piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and process flow diagrams (PFDs).\nWillingness and ability to work the assigned 12-hour, 7-on/7-off shift schedule.\nBasic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and reporting functions.\nValid driver's license.\nLOCATION & SCHEDULE:\nLocation: Hawkville Central CDP\nSchedule: 7 days on / 7 days off, 12-hour shifts\nCRITICAL ROLE DEMANDS:\nLifting Abilities\nLift 72 lbs with two hands from floor to knuckle height twice, with 12-second rest intervals between lifts.\nLift 72 lbs with two hands from floor to waist height twice, with 12-second rest intervals between lifts.\nLift 60 lbs with two hands from floor to shoulder height twice, with 12-second rest intervals between lifts.\nLift 30 lbs with two hands from floor to crown height twice, with 12-second rest intervals between lifts.\nPushing & Pulling Abilities:\nPush horizontally with both hands positioned between waist and mid-chest height to generate a peak force of 120 lbs, three times.\nPull horizontally with both hands positioned between waist and mid-chest height to generate a peak force of 120 lbs, three times.\nCarrying Abilities\nCarry 72 lbs with two hands at a self-selected height for 10 feet, twice, at a self selected pace.\nCarry at least 50 lbs with one hand for a minimum distance of 50 feet.\nStair and Ladder Climbing Abilities\nClimb up and down a total of 40 steps at a self-selected pace.\nClimb up and down 14 ladder rungs at a self-selected pace.\nAgilities\nStooping and twisting: From standing, perform three continuous alternate toe\ntouches to each side at a self-selected pace.
