This role executes day-to-day plant operations, responds to abnormal conditions, performs field rounds, applies control of work processes, and supports maintenance, startup, shutdown, and emergency\nresponse activities. Operators are accountable for maintaining operational discipline, protecting people and the environment, and ensuring facilities operate within design and regulatory limits.\nKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:\nOperate and monitor CDP facilities, compression, inlet, processing, tankage, and utilities\nPerform field rounds, inspections, and verification activities\nIdentify abnormal conditions and take timely, disciplined action\nExecute startup, shutdown, and normal operating procedures\nApply Control of Work processes (energy isolation, permits, task risk assessments)\nComply with PSM, DOT, OMS, and environmental requirements\nUse BPX systems including DeltaV, ARC, SAP, Power Apps, and verification tools\nMaintain accurate operational, production, and environmental documentation\nParticipate in incident response, investigations, and learning reviews\nRespond to equipment upsets, alarms, and emergency conditions\nIsolate, verify, and return equipment to service safely\nCoordinate with board operators, maintenance, engineering, and contractors\nESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n3+ years experience in oil & gas, midstream, or industrial operations (preferred)\nDemonstrated understanding of process safety and operational risk\nAbility to read and apply P&IDs and operating procedures\nCommitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and operational discipline\nStrong communication and teamwork skills\nExperience with compressors, pumps, valves, and process equipment\nPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:\nCDP or gas processing experience\nDelta V operating platform experience\nControl room or board operations experience\nTechnical certifications or prior midstream operator training\nFamiliarity with PSM-regulated facilities\nPREFERRED ATTRIBUTES:\nStrong communication and teamwork\nCommitment to safety and environmental stewardship\nOperational discipline\nWORKING CONDITIONS:\nField-based role supporting Permian Midstream CDP and associated facilities\nRotational 14/14 schedule\nWork includes central control room and field-based CDP facility responsibilities\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nLifting - Lift with 2 hands from floor to knuckles: 70 lbs x 2 (with 12 sec rest intervals between\nlifts)\nLifting - Lift with 2 hands from floor to waist: 70 lbs x 2 (with 12 sec rest intervals between lifts)\nLifting - Lift with 2 hands from floor to shoulders: 35 lbs x 2 (with 12 sec rest intervals between\nlifts)\nRepetitive Squatting - Repeat squats x 3 reps, self-paced, no hold time at end range\nSustained Squatting - From standing, lower body into a functional squat position. Hold the squat\nposition for 30 seconds and then stand\nKneeling - From standing, kneel on one knee, return to full standing and then kneel on opposite\nknee. Repeat kneeling test x 3, each knee, self-paced but continuous\nStooping and Twisting - From standing, perform alternate toe touches x 3 to each side, selfpaced but continuous.
