Would you like to discover how our diverse, hardworking people are leading the way in making energy cleaner and better - and how you can play your part in our world-class team?\nAbout the role:\nYou will work closely with business and Global Procurement teams to manage business expectations for achieving the larger objectives of the India business, with a strong focus on category management, digital enablement, and data-driven decision making.\nResponsibilities include:\nDrive procurement outcomes through end-to-end category management, aligning global strategies with local execution to deliver sustainable value and supply resilience\nLead category analytics including spend visibility, cost drivers, and savings tracking using digital tools\nDevelop and maintain advanced financial reporting, dashboards (Power BI), and target frameworks\nDrive contract compliance, contract lifecycle management, and governance processes\nComplete procurement activities aligned with S2C (Source-to-Contract) processes, policies, and compliance frameworks\nKey Accountabilities\nCategory Delivery\nSupport execution of category strategies for assigned spend areas, ensuring alignment with global category direction and local business priorities\nApply category knowledge to see opportunities for cost optimization, value creation, resilience, innovation, and supplier development\nSupport localization, supplier development, and innovation initiatives in collaboration with global teams\nS2C and Sourcing Execution\nComplete procurement activity across the Source-to-Contract lifecycle, including demand understanding, sourcing support, RFQ/RFP management, bid analysis, negotiation inputs, contracting, and handover\nSupport tendering and sourcing events with structured commercial evaluation and governance compliance\nContract Management & Compliance\nSupport contract lifecycle management, including contract coverage, renewals, adherence tracking, and supplier obligations monitoring.\nImprove contract compliance and reduce commercial leakage through better visibility and governance.\nDigital, Data & Analytics\nBuild and maintain procurement dashboards, reports, and performance trackers using tools such as Power BI and Excel-based analytics models\nAnalyze spend, pricing, supplier performance, and procurement indicators to generate insights for decision-making\nContribute to procurement digitization and standardization initiatives that improve visibility, speed, and decision quality\nSupplier & Customer Management\nBuild effective working relationships with suppliers and internal customers across business, finance, operations, and global procurement teams\nLead supplier performance management (SPM/SRM) through structured scorecards and dashboards\nBring external market insight and supplier intelligence to internal discussions to support proactive decision-making\nCommercial & Business Support\nTrack cost movements, market trends, and supply-demand dynamics to support business planning and budgeting\nSupport annual planning, savings tracking, forecasting inputs, and COGS-related analysis\nExperience and Qualifications:\n7+ years of direct category management experience in procurement, with strong financial understanding and commercial competence driving value delivery and negotiations\n8-10 years of overall experience in procurement/supply chain, with proven track record of managing strategic categories and supporting business outcomes\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Science, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field\nPost-graduate qualification in Management / Procurement / Supply Chain is desirable\nTravel Requirement:\nNegligible travel should be expected with this roleRelocation Assistance:\nThis role is eligible for relocation within countryRemote Type:\nThis position is a hybrid of office/remote working Skills:\nAnalytical Thinking, Building sustainability, Business Acumen, Business Requirements Analysis, Category spend profiling, Category Strategy, Commercial Acumen, Contract Management, Digital Fluency, Financial Acumen, Leading Self, Negotiating, Negotiation planning and preparation, Procurement, Product and market intelligence, Source to Contract, Source-to-Pay (S2P), Source-to-Pay Process, Stakeholder Management, Strategic Procurement, Strategic Stakeholder Management, Supplier Contracts, Supplier Relationship Management, Sustainability awareness and action.\n\n Legal Disclaimer:\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
