Vacancy information will be available through official recruitment channels.\nAs a Production Technician at BP, you will be responsible for carrying out day to day site operational activities to ensure the asset operates in a safe, compliant, and reliable manner with minimum impact on the environment in order to deliver the business objectives.\nWhat You Will Deliver:\nDeliver safe, compliant, reliable operations ensuring that BP HSSE and Operating Discipline expectations are met.\nMonitor and control equipment and process and ensure that facility operations remain within the parameters stated in the Operations Manual/Procedures and communicate to the site leadership any deviation.\nOptimize plant and equipment performance and where options for plant optimization exist ensure they are raised with the site leadership and Operations Support team.\nSafe and efficient execution of operating tasks. (Comment: Operations routines, SOPs, basics care etc.)\nFollow all process safety aspects of operations and identify any gaps to compliance and seek approval. (Comment: Including SOPs, MOC, ORA, overrides, LO/LC valves, leaks and seeps, handovers, etc.)\nDeliver full compliance with all Control of Work requirements for the role.(Comment: Prepare and implement isolations, perform monitoring, integrity and pre start-up checks, process line-ups, reinstatement after maintenance, etc.)\nMaintain an awareness of the site major risks and ongoing operational risks and informs site leadership of any emergent risks.\nIdentify CI opportunities and participate in root cause failure investigations as required.\nReview work procedures as required ensuring accuracy of procedures used to operate plant and equipment.\nProvide operations recommendations to operations planning, projects and TAR preparation as well as supporting vendors and visitors as required.\nWhat You Will Need To Be Successful:\nS1 or D3 technical degree majoring chemical / mechanical / gas / electrical / instrument.\nExperience as a field technician in operations within LNG, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or other equivalent process plant environments min 6 years for S1 and 8 years for D3.\nAbility to read and interpret basic engineering drawings such as PID/PFD.\nPossesses fundamental skills in conducting hazard analysis within operational environments.\nDemonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience in plant operations, with preference given to experience in LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) facilities.\nComfortable working at heights and in elevated environments.\nStrong ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of a team.\nAt bp, we provide the following environment and benefits to you!\nA company culture where we respect our diverse and unified teams, where we are proud of our achievements and where fun and the attitude of giving back to our environment are highly valued\nPossibility to join our social communities and networks\nLearning opportunities and other development opportunities to craft your career path\nLife and health insurance, medical care package\nAnd many other benefits.\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
