The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial modelling, cost allocation, and profitability analysis, and will play a key role in designing and delivering enterprise-wide PaPM solutions.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead end-to-end SAP PaPM Universal Model implementations and enhancements\nDesign and configure Universal Model environments including model structure, dimensions, measures, and allocation cycles\nBuild complex allocation and distribution rules (driver-based, percentage-based, recursive) within PaPM\nDevelop calculation methods including formulas, functions, and custom logic using PaPM scripting\nIntegrate PaPM with SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and SAC for seamless data flow\nModel profitability segments, cost centres, and profit centres for management reporting\nConfigure data import/export pipelines and mapping between source systems and PaPM\nPerform simulation and versioning for scenario-based planning and what-if analysis\nDesign transfer pricing and shared service cost allocation models\nCollaborate with Finance, Controlling, and IT teams to translate business requirements into PaPM solutions\nConduct performance tuning of PaPM models on SAP HANA\nPrepare technical design documents, data flow diagrams, and solution blueprints\nLead workshops, demos, and stakeholder presentations\nMentor junior consultants and support knowledge transfer\nMandatory Skills\nMust Have:\nStrong hands-on experience in SAP PaPM Universal Model (UM)\nExperience building UM environments from scratch\nSkilled in modelling without pre-delivered content (unlike Standard Model)\nExperience with data sources, table-based modelling, and associations in UM\nIntegration options with various source systems\nModel Entity with value help creation\nReporting in UM\nProcess and Activities\nInput parameters usage\nComplex predicates\nData upload using Activities\nUnderstanding differences between:\nUniversal Model vs Standard Model\nKey Behavioral Competencies\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills\nAbility to work with senior stakeholders\nHigh ownership in delivery and modelling accuracy\nStructured documentation and governance mindset\nCertifications: SAP Certification in SAP PaPM\nSAP analytics experience (SAP BW, Datasphere or SAC)\nAbout bp\nOur purpose is to deliver energy to the world, today and tomorrow.
