This role works closely with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Pipelines, SWD, Commercial, and Technology teams to support optimization initiatives across gas, oil, water, and produced fluid systems.\nThe successful candidate will leverage operational data, engineering principles, and field engagement to identify system constraints, improve asset utilization, and deliver measurable business value. The role requires a strong analytical mindset, a passion for continuous improvement, and the ability to translate insights into practical operational solutions.\nField engagement is expected to build relationships, understand operational challenges, and ensure solutions are applicable and sustainable in daily operations.\nKey Accountabilities\nSystem Optimization & Performance Improvement\nDevelop tools to supervise system performance, pressures, rates, and operating conditions to identify optimization opportunities.\nSupport efforts to maximize throughput, minimize production deferment, and improve asset utilization.\nEvaluate constraints across gathering, compression, treating, pipeline, and water systems and recommend corrective actions.\nQuantify the operational and financial impact of optimization initiatives.\nAssist in developing operational strategies that improve flow assurance and system efficiency.\nReliability & Operational Support\nSupport Operations and Maintenance teams in identifying and resolving equipment or system reliability issues.\nSupport Operations and Maintenance with workflow mapping and optimization\nParticipate in troubleshooting efforts during outages, upsets, and abnormal operating conditions.\nAnalyze recurring operational issues and develop recommendations to reduce risk and improve performance.\nSupport continuous improvement of response plans and operating procedures.\nAnalytics, Reporting & Digital Solutions\nDevelop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical tools that improve visibility into system performance.\nAnalyze operational and commercial data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and optimization opportunities.\nUtilize data analytics, pattern recognition, and anomaly detection techniques to support decision-making.\nAssist with implementation of new technologies and digital tools that improve operational performance.\nCommercial & Joint Venture Support\nSupport tracking and analysis of midstream agreements, processing commitments, and third-party connections.\nAssist with forecasting, scenario evaluations, and economic assessments of optimization opportunities.\nIdentify opportunities to improve commercial outcomes while maintaining operational reliability.\nContinuous Improvement\nParticipate in Root Cause Failure Analyses (RCFAs) and other continuous improvement initiatives.\nTrack optimization opportunities and support implementation of corrective actions.\nPromote a data-driven approach to operational decision-making.\nShare lessons learned and best practices across teams.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in engineering with proven understanding of oil and gas production, gathering, and processing operations\n5-10 years of experience supporting oil and gas production, facilities, midstream, water management, or operations engineering.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nProven ability to work collaboratively across technical and operational teams.\nEffective written and verbal communication skills.\nTravel: 25% travel to field locations\nSalary and Benefits\nWe offer a reward and wellbeing package to enable your work to fit with your life.
