The team operates around 50 sites in 32 states with a robust development pipeline.\nAbout the role\nThe Senior Planner / Scheduler is a critical member of Archaea’s Project Controls organization, responsible for planning, scheduling, forecasting, and performance reporting across a ~$200 million development capital portfolio consisting of 9-12 concurrent projects spanning FEL 1 through execution and commissioning. Reporting to the VP of Performance Management, in Archaea’s Finance function, this role owns the integrated portfolio master schedule and project-level Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules, providing schedule assurance, forecasting, and executive reporting that enable predictable project delivery, capital deployment, cashflow, and accrual forecasting.\nWorking closely with Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations, Finance, and EPC contractors, the Senior Planner / Scheduler develops and maintains Primavera P6 (Oracle Primavera Cloud) schedules, integrates contractor schedules into the portfolio master schedule, performs critical path and schedule risk analysis, and translates schedule performance into actionable insights for project and executive leadership. The role also leads portfolio schedule reporting and dashboard development through Domo dashboards, ensuring consistent and transparent performance measurement across Archaea’s development program.\nThis role is based in Houston, Texas.\nKey accountabilities\nDevelop and maintain strong working relationships with the Project Managers, Project Control, Engineering Leads, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning and Operations team members.\nFunction as the main point of contact for all day-to-day project planning related activity, schedule performance management and reporting. \nDevelop, maintain, and ensure the integrity of integrated CPM schedules across 9-12 concurrent projects spanning FEL 1 through execution and commissioning\nMay provide oversight to Contractor Engineering Home Office and Site Contractor Planning Teams \nUse performance data to provide timely project insights to project leadership team. \nApply schedule controls policies, procedures, processes, guidelines, tools, and templates. \nMaintain compliance with Archaea’s Project Stage Gate Guidelines.\nEnsure the development of standardized project schedules, with appropriate allowance, based upon stage gate authorization.\nMaintain schedule logic, work breakdown structures, baselines, progress measurement methodologies, and schedule forecasting processes within Primavera 6\nPerform critical path analysis, schedule variance analysis, and schedule risk assessments to identify threats, opportunities, and recovery actions. \nProvide relevant & specific expertise to diagnose, investigate & overcome problems.\nDevelop, maintain, and monitor the overall portfolio schedule. \nDevelop and maintain schedule contingency drawdown strategy and reporting. \nIdentify risks / schedule threats and opportunities to improve schedule.\nDevelop and issue progress reports and forecasts to appropriate stakeholders. \nDevelop / Maintain stage gate deliverables related to schedules. \nSupport the project benchmarking process and facilitate preparation for aspects associated with schedule. \nMake schedule performance information easily accessible. \nProvide leadership with forward-looking information identifying expected project schedule performance and comparisons against approved targets. \nReview, challenge, and integrate contractor schedules into the portfolio master schedule, ensuring alignment with project objectives and reporting requirements.\nundefined\nEssential education\nMore than 10 years of relevant professional experience (within the Chemical / Petrochemical / Industrial / Refining / Production Areas) in Project Management or Project Controls\nSelf-starter and takes the initiative.
