So if you want to be part of a caring, supportive environment where you can realize your full potential, we’re with you.\nJoin our Technology Team and advance your career as a Site Reliability Engineer\nAs a Site Reliability Engineer, you will support the reliability and continuous improvement of the integrations that enable our EV site operations. You will work with the team to maintain the connections between our site management platform, internal systems, ticketing and work-order services, contractor systems and other operational platforms.\nWorking alongside experienced engineers, you will help monitor services, investigate incidents, maintain AWS-based integrations and contribute to automation and improvements that keep our operational systems running reliably.\nIn this role You will:\nSupport the reliability, availability and performance of integrations and cloud services supporting EV site operations.\nMonitor integrations and services, investigate alerts and help resolve incidents across interconnected systems.\nSupport solving and root-cause analysis, raising complex issues where appropriate.\nMaintain and enhance existing AWS-based integrations, APIs and services under established architectural patterns.\nSupport REST API, event-driven and message-based integrations between site management, ticketing, work-order and contractor systems.\nDevelop and maintain monitoring and alerting using AWS CloudWatch and Grafana.\nSupport system configurations, access controls, certificates and secrets following established security standards.\nDevelop and maintain Node.js applications and Bash scripts used within integrations and automation.\nSupport CI/CD processes through Azure DevOps and Azure Pipelines.\nUse tools such as Postman or Insomnia to test, diagnose and solve APIs.\nContribute to user documentation and operational procedures.\nWork collaboratively with engineering, operations, product, data teams and external partners to resolve issues and improve our integration services.\nWhat You will need to be successful:\nDegree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.\nPractical experience with AWS and cloud-based applications, either professionally or through significant project experience.\nWorking knowledge of AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, EventBridge, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB and CloudWatch.\nUnderstanding of REST APIs, JSON and basic API integration principles.\nBasic understanding of synchronous and asynchronous communication patterns.\nDevelopment or scripting experience using Node.js and/or Bash.\nFamiliarity with Git and source-code management.\nSome understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices, ideally using Azure DevOps or similar tooling.\nAn understanding of cloud security concepts including OAuth 2.0, certificates, secrets and access controls.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in solving complex systems.\nGood communication skills and willingness to learn and develop within a collaborative engineering environment.\nDesirable criteria:\nProven ability to use AI-assisted tools effectively to enhance productivity and deliver high-quality outcomes efficiently\nStrong understanding of business and commercial drivers, applying curiosity, technical expertise and customer focus to deliver high-value solutions\nStrong interpersonal and teamwork skills across technical, operations and commercial teams\nWillingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments\nAt bp, we provide the following environment & benefits to you:\nDifferent bonus opportunities based on performance, wide range of cafeteria elements\nLife & health insurance, medical care package\nHybrid working arrangement aligned with team arrangements and business needs\nOpportunity to build up long-term career path and develop your skills with wide range of learning options\nCelebrate in bp’s success.
