FBT Procurement supports delivery of BP business and functional strategies by driving efficiency and effectiveness. The FBT Procurement sourcing team is a component of the sourcing pillar and drives the way in which BP approaches the market to source third party supply,balancing efficiency and value drivers in line with category strategy.\nWorking within a defined global process framework, this role will contribute to an enhanced Service Delivery Model around how BP managed costs through third-party contract agreements, and ensure maximum value is achieved. This role is expected to deliver value using the provisions of the Category Management Common Process and within boundaries of relevant laws and regulations, approved budgets and, where applicable, JV partner and NOC agreements.\nResponsible for delivering medium to high complexity, potentially multi-region sourcing events within the logistics sourcing category, driving significant value for the business.\nAligns with BP’s Code of Conduct, as well as all HSSE requirements, including continual support of HSSE objectives within the business, and taking a professional and disciplined approach to working with suppliers, to ensure transparency, consistency and fairness. Our procurement and supply chain management principles are always applied within that framework and in the context of relevant laws and regulation.\nWhat you will deliver\nSourcing\nValidate requests, scopes of work and liaise with Procurement Delivery Team, Category Delivery Team and Business Stakeholder Teams to ensure all business requirements are considered/met\nGather and analyze market intelligence data on a regular basis relative to the appropriate category and region to properly gauge and evaluate market and industry conditions which are used to determine the sourcing strategy.\nDevelop and implement Sourcing strategy with supervision in accordance with the respective Category strategy request, incumbents, market conditions etc.\nDefine and develop approach to market and develop source selection criteria based on the business priorities and requirement\nDevelop and acquire approvals for award recommendation documentation\nManage and coordinate the supplier selection process to ensure the most ideal option is chosen\nManage all relevant partner and supplier interactions and relationship throughout the sourcing project\nNegotiate and agree on relevant contract terms with suppliers\nDevelop and modify contract content based on templates and manage the approval process\nGenerate reports (status, summary etc.) and analyse data depending on the project requirements\nContracting\nEvaluate proposals/outputs\nLead complex negotiation for multi region commercial contracts\nEnsure compliance to FBT Procurement controls and contract templates\nManage the contract execution/signature process per the applicable legal/POA (power of attorney) requirements for each BP entity\nAdditional accountabilities specific to this role\nEffectively represent each category and region supported to the business\nDevelop a solid understanding of assigned regional contracts, supply agreement templates along with detailed understanding of legal concepts related to each category’s guiding principles, also known as Category Guidance.\nReporting effectiveness through key metrics, including value delivery to FBT Procurement\nWhat you will need to be successful (experience and qualifications)\nProfessional experience with minimum seven (7) years in end to end sourcing and contracting of services and commodities, gained preferably in a multinational environment\nProven knowledge and minimum five (5) years of experience in Logistics sourcing\nTrack record of successful Supply Chain delivery in complex, challenging international environments and Joint Ventures\nDemonstrated ability to collaborate with internal partners across multiple discipline, cultures and geographies and with suppliers\nAbility to operate independently and methodically with minimum supervision to lead and ensure process adherence, research and analysis of systems and information\nExperience with contract creation, negotiation and maintenance\nStrong knowledge of navigating the supply market and supplier selection\nUnderstanding of the end-to-end Procurement process\nStrong influencing and negotiation skills and problem-solving skills\nStrong stakeholder management skills\nExcellent time-management and task prioritization skills\nHighly motivate to own and further develop sourcing & category knowledge\nExperience working in an Ariba / Salesforce system environment is an advantage\nProficient desktop computing experience\nStrong proactive and innovative approach \nEssential criteria\nExperienced in working across time zones and cultures\nOil & Gas experience\nShift & Work Arrangement\nAbility to work 11:00 AM-8:00 PM; shift allowance provided per company policy.\nAt bp, we provide the following environment and benefits to you !\nA company culture where we respect our diverse and unified teams, where we are proud of our achievements and where fun and the demeanor of giving back to our environment are highly valued\nPossibility to join our social communities and networks\nLearning opportunities and other development opportunities to craft your career path\nLife and health insurance, medical care package\nAnd many other benefits!\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
