In addition to sourcing, this role is responsible for developing supplier relationships, proactively identifying value opportunities and providing professional guidance to the broader team under their leadership.\nThis includes demand management, definition of sourcing strategy based on a predefined category framework, source selection, contract negotiation, and contract creation & opalization via CLM.\nThe role contains leadership responsibilities; the Sourcing Manager will manage a team of sourcing leads and sourcing analysts and look after key partner relations and act as point for critical issues.\nThe ideal candidate has a strong team leadership background, extensive experience in Convenience Retail/Retail Assets related services and commodities, managing sourcing projects and proven knowledge of the given spend categories and marketplace, coupled with a strong commercial orientation, communication and stakeholder management skills.\nIn this role You will:\nDriving and improving value for BP across the spend categories and activities managed \nOngoing tracking and reporting of value delivery (eg. savings) \nOperational Excellence by ensuring stable, effective and customer-focused service delivery \nEffective management of the activity triage & workflow with the Business Partners, resource allocation and backup\nConstantly achieving and delivering against the agreed Performance objectives incl. the respective Key Performance Indicators \nEnsuring effective partner concern management in line with the agreed operating model \nEnsuring processes are embedded & adhered to consistently in the team \nEnsuring team process and procedure documentations are maintained captured real-time\nTake an innovative approach and lead continuous process improvement initiatives Working closely with other leaders in the Procurement organization\nDeveloping and maintaining effective working relationships with key partners at all levels within the organisation, customers and external service providers \nAlign with BP’s Code of Conduct, taking a professional and disciplined approach to working with suppliers, to ensure transparency, consistency and fairness.
