This role is focus on implementation of bp's Supplier Performance Management framework to leverage supplier relationships, monitor performance, and identify areas for improvement and enhancement, thereby delivering additional value to BP.\nKey Accountabilities\nIn this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a positive and close collaboration with key suppliers following bp's supplier segmentation framework to ensure the suppliers are performing against contractual obligations and encourage continuous improvement of vendor's provision of goods and services.\nMaintain a close relationship with key bp suppliers. For Strategic Suppliers, you are responsible for coordinating with bp internal and external team to establish an Executive Sponsor team.\n\nDevelop Strategic Business Review framework to discuss partnership and future innovation opportunities.\n\nInitiate Supplier Performance Management review meetings with business stakeholders and suppliers to measure supplier performance, and develop plans to address any performance issues.\n\nCapture and maintain bp Records in relation to supplier performance, audit outcomes, improvement opportunities, improving safety performance and reducing operational risks.\n\nSupport other procurement activities including contract negotiations, dispute management, risk management (supply-chain disruption), quality assurance and any other operational issues relating to supplier's service delivery and performance!\n\nEssential Education:\nAn undergraduate degree (ideally in procurement or business) or equivalent experience.\n\nMinimum 8 years professional experience in Indirect Procurement is required.\n\nExperience of working cross culturally and in an international environment\n\nAbility to communicate and influence across different levels in the organisation\n\nEngaging and collaborative way of working\n\nResilient and experienced in working in multi-faceted environment\n\nEssential Experience and Job Requirements:\nBusiness Requirements Analysis- Use understanding of stakeholder strategy and category knowledge to develop a viable, long term view of business requirements.\n\nProduct & Market Intelligence- Uses deep knowledge of supply markets to create strong sourcing solutions. Uses supply market insights to determine future sourcing strategies for the business. Networks internally and externally and stay up to date via industry publications, conferences, and events.\n\nMentors and coach’s category managers / specialists / analysts / lead in the use of analytical tools. Leads governance discussions with executive sponsors regarding progress and business results.\n\nRelationship Management- Takes full ownership of engagement issues with stakeholders, monitors relationships and acts on relevant feedback.\n\nCategory Spend Profiling- Develops insights on spend profiles that result in elimination of non-value add spend within the category. Identifies key external and environmental drivers and uses this to recommend sourcing initiatives.\n\nContract Management- Manage contracts to optimally control spend, reduce risk, avoid supplier driven scope creep. Manages BP’s and supplier’s compliance to the contract and proactively resolves issues before they become major problems.\n\nSupplier Relationship Management- Works collaboratively with suppliers. Links value proposition to strategic objectives.\n\nValue Creation & Management- Develops opportunities that provide mutual value and drive competitive advantage. Challenges suppliers to generate value-based solutions that deliver improved business results.\n\nCost Modelling- Proposes internal and external solutions to reduce costs over the life of the purchase and implements solutions as agreed.\n\nInfluencing- Proactively handles a wide range of stakeholders to overcome resistance and achieve a successful result from projects. Varies communication to address specific stakeholder needs and to gain commitment and support.\n\nInnovation- Experiments with new insights. Brings together the creative ideas into a detailed approach or solution, seeking better solutions for new requirements.\n\nAnalytical Thinking- Applies analytical techniques to solve complex problems.
